88432 I'm also reading this now:

Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

I was going to try to finish this month, but could easily wait until April to finish if we don't need it. It could be an Overload card.

If we need it for March, let me know and I'll hurry up and finish.

88432 I could read Find Me by Alafair Burke for April.

It would work for 8 or Skip (character names)

88432 I just double-checked because I honestly couldn't remember if any time was spent in London. The Paris Apartment starts with the main character outside the apartment building and ringing the buzzer, having just traveled from London. I think we're safe to say set entirely in Paris.

I would say yes. One character comes to the apartment from London, but the entire book focuses on each tenant of the apartment. A girl arrives at the apartment from London and starts discovering things about the lives of each of the tenants. There is also a flashback to an Amsterdam trip. So it's not like no other country is ever mentioned, but the setting is Paris.

88432 I am reading these now:
Would Like to Meet by Rachel Winters Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

I have no idea what they work for. 🙃
They are both moving pretty quickly for me, so I'll get them done and hopefully we can plug them in for something somewhere.

🤦 I saw the green in Greenwich Park and just read it as green. I thought she was asking for the main uno spreadsheet. Soo sorry.

88432 It looks like Team Gingerbread is using The Paris Apartment as gray. If we don't want to count it as black, maybe that would work. I've just finished it. I haven't rated and added it to my shelf yet.

It only has to be more than 50% green. I think it's fine. Very green.

88432 Ok. Well I think it's more than half black, but you don't have to count it. I'll just use it as a regular card.

Hmm...I put it into tineye and it says over 80% black. I know lots of people are reading it right now. Maybe I can watch to see if anyone else uses it for black.

Looking at the actual book, I do feel pretty confident that it is at least 51% black.

88432 I'm also currently reading this, which I guess is more than 50% black.

The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

I'm really not finding much to fit the classical or fantasy paintings and it's bugging me. I think I have a few books with W or Q characters.

88432 I saw that the mini is posted. Ohhh wow. I don't have much in my immediate stack of books that works. I'll try to dig a little deeper. There's got to be something here. :)

I could read this for a gray cover book:

Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
Mar 11, 2022 12:01PM

88432 I just have a couple of chapters + the epilogue left, so I can definitely do it.

Nothing to Fear But Ferrets

I haven't read it. It looks like a cozy mystery (?)

88432 I'm reading this for a book club this month. It does work for Blue 4, but it looks like we have that card covered. I'm only mentioning it here in case the people reading for blue don't get to their books or change their minds.

I listed it on the planning spreadsheet as a character name, not a setting, but I don't really care if you use it. If someone else has a green, it's fine with me.

88432 Finished my last book for the mini - The Last Thing He Told Me.
Feb 23, 2022 04:08PM

88432 If you promise not to laugh at me for reading a Christmas book in March, I can cover green 9 with this one:

The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews
Feb 23, 2022 06:31AM

88432 Finished this one, too...it's one of the weirdest books I've ever read.

Peaces by Helen Oyeyemi

I have the Thames Path Killer on the planning sheet, but I might move it to March. It's just sitting here calling my name, but I need to do something besides read with my last full day off for a while. :)

88432 Finished my Red -7 card.
