88432 Oh also, if you see someone's read a book you have previously read, please make a note in the spreadsheet under other possible cards section. We may need to use it for a reverse!

88432 I have ove on my shelf to read. I think I’ve just bumped it up enough to read for one of the cards this first round.

Just a reminder you can’t start any books you want to read until the challenge begins. I’ve popped the countdown to the start in my second message near the top of this thread!

88432 Hi everyone and welcome to UNO 2023!

I'm Gem and I'm your captain. I live in the UK and am an avid reader of a variety of genres but my favourites are thrillers, mysteries and horror.
This will be my 4th UNO and its by far the best challenge! For those of you who are new to the game, its very easy to pick up and those of us who have played before can help you in any way you need. The main thing is to have FUN!

So please introduce yourselves; what's your favourite genres? What's the books you recommend to absolutely everyone? And do you have any Red, Blue, Yellow or Green covers you're hoping to get to in this challenge?

I recommend to anyone who will listen:
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes The Shining by Stephen King Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty Bullet Train by Kōtarō Isaka The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin Verity by Colleen Hoover

And I'm spreadsheet obsessed so here's a link to my coloured covers I could use for the challenge: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

88432 IMPORTANT INFO:

◈ This is a 3 month team challenge starting 1 February 2023

◈ At the end of the challenge 30 April 2023 the team with the most points wins!

◈ At the start of each month each team is given a minimum 14 hands of 7 "UNO" cards
