88432 Sorry I tend to add to currently reading as soon as I know what I'm reading next. I've changed it now as I started the audiobook at work on Monday.
I've deleted all the places it covered as there wasn't a main one. Sorry I'll be better at the rules going forward

88432 Had a manic weekend with the superbowl and I had annual leave from work so I will get started on my books tonight. Great start though ladies!

88432 Makes sense to me too!! thank you!
So I am assuming this challenge really involves a lot of shifting around of books to utilise them the best way?
I only read 4-5 books a month so I've planned those in a spread sheet and highlighted from what I know so far, what cards they could work for. Is there anything more I can do for now?

88432 After reading back through, I can't work out the difference between Wild and Draw 2

88432 Ahhhh I see what you mean now..... and I don't know the answer lol. im leaving this to those in the know :)

88432 Only one book can cover a card. So 3 separate reads would need to be complete to cover those 3 cards you've said.

88432 Thanks Cyndee, I couldn't work out how best to lay out my own one and was getting so confused :D Thanks so much

88432 Ive just done the breakdown of how many cards we have of each type so as long as I'm correct they are:

ONE - 5
TWO - 10
THREE - 7
FOUR - 6
FIVE - 8
SIX - 7
SEVEN - 8
EIGHT - 6
NINE - 7
SKIP - 5
DRAW 2 - 9
WILD - 4
REVERSE - 6

7 COLOURED CARDS

88432 As most of you have played this challenge before, do you have a spreadsheet or tracker to get a feel for what books you want to read and what might fit where? This might help me pre-plan as im more of a 'grab a book that fits' but it means I might not be fully invested in it when I could read something I really want to and it fits.

88432 Added in 2013, I love these challenges to help you pick up books you’ve otherwise abandoned. Thanks again for your help ladies!!

88432 Yep that’s my shelf. I’ve just added my book I want to read, would you mind taking a quick look to check it’s yellow enough? I’m not sure on the strictness exactly yet. Many thanks :)

88432 Thanks for answering the questions for me :)
I can take 4 yellow as my starting book and it’s one that’s been on my TBR for agessssssss!!

88432 Hi Teamies/puddings/encouragers of my reading habbit!!

Im Gem, 32 and live in the UK and I have never played this challenge before.
I work a standard 9-5 office job, I'm into nearly all sports (watching NOT playing) and my love of reading just seems to be getting bigger and bigger.
I've banned myself (but not really sticking to) buying anymore books until I've got my TBR pile down so that all my books fit on my bookcase. I'm about 30 over!!!
It takes me a week or so to get to grips with what I'm doing with new challenges but having looked at the spreadsheet it looks pretty self explanatory.
**Question 1 - do I add some books to my UNO shelf im thinking of using or is that just for books I've completed for this challenge?
Question 2 - in other challenges the cover is whats physically in your hand and not the GR default, is that the same here?**

Cant wait to get started with this one with you all.
