88432 @Ambi for a Wild card, we have to duplicate a card in that hand. F.e if one hand has 2, 5, 7, Wild, we can only use a book that fits for either 2, 5 or 7 to fill the wild card. I hope that makes sense.

88432 We need the start dates in case one of the organizers has a look through book shelves. We rather have everything in place than not getting points for books because such details are missing :) it's a bit weird that your goodreads doesn't start the date once you put it as "currently reading", mine automatically does

Sorry I never answered your Quidditch question! Yes, there is a snitch, it's just a person wearing trousers with a sock attached to the trousers. In the sock is a tennis ball, so that's basically your snitch and you have to catch it. It's really hard as the snitch runner is basically allowed to throw you around as long as he isn't aggressive about it

Yes! It needs to have over 25.000 words, which Crank has :)

I don't quite see how Skip works for the book, as the authors name is Lauren Blakely? Nicknames can only be used for the charactes in the book, and only when the nickname is more regulary used than their full name (from what I remember anyway)

88432 I'm already so behind on reading, I've been too busy. Will finally get to my computer tonight and read through all the messages xD but from what I've seen from quickly scrolling through, we are off to a good start :)

88432 @Lau only Christina and I can edit the spreadsheet. Once you're done reading, post it in here, with the layout Christina posted in the first few comments (where all the information is)

I think it's quicker if you watch a video rather than me trying to type everything xD its a complex sports, sadly not being seen as an "official" one, as game time can't be forseen (game time stops whenever a referee calls a foul or whatever, not like with soccer). But we do have world cups and european cups (those are for national teams, so players from all teams thrown together). And my team is going to participate at the EQC (it's like the champions league for europe) - at EQC your team has to qualify (so we have a qualifier for all Austrian teams f.e and the winner gets to go to the cup).

If you want to know how it looks like, this is the World Cup Finale from 2018 :)

88432 I desperatly need to get my library card renewed for this challenge
Jan 23, 2020 12:23AM

88432 Welcome Natalie, Sandy and Jen :) I'm happy that everyone already checked in!

Especially for newbies: If you have questions, ask away, that's what we are here for. And I want to remind everyone that this is a social challenge! Of course we want to win (duh ;)), but it's more important that everyone has fun reading, and that we get to know our teammates better. :)

88432 @Ambi some cards give more points, f.e if we have lots of coloured cards we overall get more points. There will also be mini challenges for extra points. Not every team will finish all of their cards or the whole mini challenge
