What did you think Terri? I liked it and the premise but it didn't quite deliver for me. Although there was enough set up for further books and I would probably read them just to see what happens next to the girls.

Interesting book but boy you can't eat much.

It was such a nostalgic read Karen especially reading my late Mum's copy which is nearly 80 years old. Even though it is a book of its time (you could look critically at it as slightly racist and sexist) it was just a lovely read (and I still shed a tear when Matthew died!)

I'm going to PEI later in the year and I can't wait to go to Green Gables. It's a real bucket list experience.
