I found this one (a short novella of 127 pages) to connect with Team Kuiper .

Vampires are the main supernatural creature in both books. Midnight Unleashed is set in Rome (with vampires) and Alexa's late father ( from Soulless) was an Italian vampire. Does this work?

I just finished for Part 2 of the challenge - which is the final amazing book in the Grant County series, is the first book in the series you recommended. The forensics and details can be a bit graphic but the interconnections between the characters is what kept me reading... and that final chapter. Amazing! 4.5 stars.
