How was this book, Robynne! I have been searching for a book set in Kyrgyzstan, so I am particularly intrigued now that you have read one set there.

We are in the Last Month of the challenge!
This is where it starts getting very bittersweet and you folks have been such an AWESOME team that it not going to be fun as we inch closer to the end.

But, we have one full month of wonderful books and book talks!
So, onwards we go! :D

If you've noticed, we have something interesting added to our April Cards - Overload Cards

◈ What are Overload cards?

Overload cards are also cover colour cards, BUT they require different colours.
The colours you can use for Overload cards are the following:

- purple
- pink
- orange
- brown
- grey
- white
- black

You can only use each cover colour once .

We have officially completed all our hands and all the 45 tasks for the Mini!

Did I ever tell you folks that all of you are AMAAAAZING!! :D

P.S. If anyone has a final Q or X book, I can totally squeeze that in for some additional points, but if not, no worries at all! We were fantastic this month! Onwards to the beautiful April. :D

Update

We are DONE with W books!
We re-filled all our 6 Ts for this month with 6 Ws.

We can still fit in 2 more slots in the Mini.
If we want to capitalize on more points, those 2 books should have a Q or an X.

I have read it too - reverse the reverse! Yaay! :D

Robynne, I will talk about these in a couple of days, once we have a better hold over our March cards. Don't want to create more confusion. These are interesting though and I am hopeful we all will like them. :)

It is anything, not just the place.
These letters Q, W, and X act exactly the same as out other letters we have been finding books for.

Also, I had read that book, so I used it for a Reverse, which was awesome since we needed that.

Haha! I like how your comment was a complete package of question and answer. :)

Having said that (and not to add to any confusion), we still have X Green that we havent swapped since none of our 6 Green books read so far had any Xs in them. If that is something that you have on your docket, feel free to prioritize that for the books you are reading.

Yeah, saw that! But we have used that for a colored card, so unless we have another option for that, keeping it as is.

Gwen is reading a book I read, and I am planning on reading a book that Carrie read, so we might be good with the remaining two reverses too.

So, its all upto the Mini now. Let's do it! :)

OKAY! Phew, that was a lot of fun! :P
I moved our books left, right, and center and now potentially have fit in our books as best as I can at this moment.

Here is what we need to complete:

1 Card 6
2 Skip
2 Reverse

We already have banked books that are not used that we can use for Card 6 and Skip.
So, lets not worry there!

I have kept them open only to have the opportunity to use them for Mini incase any of the upcoming books have a X or a Q. So, let's keep an eye out for those.

WE STILL NEED 2 REVERSES!

For the Mini,

Part I: Color Cards - 10/10 (Minimum COMPLETE)
Part II: Painting - 10/10 (Minimum COMPLETE)
Part III: Location - 7/10 (Minimum 3 more required)
Part IV: Replace w/Q, W, X - 9/10 (Minimum 1 more required)

Note, that just makes it to 40! We have 45 maximum tasks.
The remaining 5 books can be used anywhere.
The best option for the most points, is to use it in Part IV, so if any books have any reference to Q, W, or X - let's note that!

- 2 Reverses
- 3 mini challenge locations (except CAN, USA, ENG, AUS and NZ).
- (max.) 6 books which have something of Q, W, or X in them.

Anna, does Glimmerglass have any W, Q, or X, by any chance?

Anna, does On Dublin Street have anything with an X in it? This would work perfectly for the 6 Green we are looking for for the Mini.

We can use it for a generic W (i.e. Card 2), but since we don't have a 2 Blue card, the blue cover won't be used unfortunately. But, it definitely fits the location challenge as long as the book is entirely set out side the 5 locations excluded from the mini challenge.

Anne, we have used Eating Animals for our 4 Green card in Hand 4 previously. Definitely can't miss a nice green cover like that. Haha.
