I can understand why you almost DNF... this book in its twisted up plot definitely had topics that were uncomfortable. I wouldn't say that I loved the author's writing style nor did I love the book but it was definitely "weird" ( for lack of a better term) enough for me to finish and want to know what happened!

My recent book worked for 7blue use it as a duplicate card instead of the yellow one you have me slotted in for.

I kept falling asleep reading last night but I did manage to finish it. As much as this book was disturbingly weird I did like it. Kind of ironic that Allison ends up keeping the secret at the end.
I 'm glad that despite the weird sexual relationships I read the book.

So my feelings are similiar to Kristie's and Marina's. I'm weirded out by all the sibling sex( GROSS... gross, gross) but still trying to figure out what happened to Allison all those years ago and who actually pushed her?
So many lies in this house...

Dr. Capello pushed her because she saw something? And everyone else is covering for him? Or Thora did it? I'm just guessing I 'm not sure who pushed her. I do want to know what happened and whats up with all the brain procedures/surgeries in these adopted children. (hide spoiler)]

I'm in chapter 20, so need to finish it and the next before I can read your spoiler Kristie. I also need to hop on the laptop so I can write down my thoughts.

Nice! I 'm glad you enjoyed it enough to read the second one. I also liked the second one! There is quite a bit of humor involved as well! Romance, HEA, humor, a story of some sort= an enjoyable read!

Silje, I'm looking forward to getting a copy of book 3 in the series. Did you like book 1?

I still have 6 yellow it can work for one of the duplicate cards or maybe there will be other yellow options it fits for.

I saw the mini challenge post. My least favorite of all the mini challenges. ( I dislike reading for task. ) How do you want to do that MH? Are we planning for this one? It will be difficult to switch for task as they are quite specific.
