88432 6 loooong more days!
Actually its been so busy that the wait for UNO is actually going fast. I thought last week flew by. Anyone have plans for the weekend?

We are going to see a movie Saturday; skating on Sunday. See what else we can fit in between.

88432 I'm a little over 400 pages of Lethal White; hoping to finish it this weekend. It's good! I haven't seen the adaptation.
I m with Karen... I also didn't like the book " You"!That's a series I won't be continuing.

88432 I went to my bowling league last night and missed all the fun!

My favorites of 2019 so far are : Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens & Purple Hearts (Front Lines, #3) by Michael Grant

Least favorite of 2019 so far: The Perfect Nanny by Leïla Slimani --so disappointing and Fireworks of Love (The Armstrongs Book 13) by Jessica Gray
Sometimes reading for task can result in a dud!

I'm trying to finish Lethal White (Cormoran Strike, #4) by Robert Galbraith before UNO and a couple of others!

88432 @ Karen,
I've got Morton's book on my radar.. and I started Zusak's new book and couldn't get into it. I usually have more library loans than I can get through so if a book doesn't grab me then I move on to the other books. Your rating makes me happy I didn't try to finish it! I 'm quite sure he will never write another bestseller like The Book Thief

Sometimes though 1 and 2 star books are painful!

88432 This is the quietest team I 've been on since playing team challenges. I think some of it has to do with the different time zones.

We aren't very far into 2019 but does anyone have a favorite book or a 5 star read for 2019 so far? ( because I know you all want to add to your tbr right? teehee)

Least favorite book or 1 star book of 2019 ( so far) ?

Your Dean Koontz book looks good, Sandy. I'll see if I can get it sometime during our UNO play!

88432 Thanks for the heads up; though I don't usually look at reviews. It will work for reverse if I like and finish it! I've got too many library loans out and not enough time to read them all. I want to read Lethal White (Cormoran Strike, #4) by Robert Galbraith before UNO starts . Its too thick to read during UNO. This is my second time signing it out.

88432 I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already! This week flew by.
I've been watching Grey's Anatomy with my daughter. She is binge watching and loving it!

I 've got a few books on the go and a few I really want to read but they are short ...so perfect for UNO.
I'm reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens which is the current BOM and I love it! Falling by Jane Green - cute romance and an older BOM I couldn't get in time but am enjoying some of the stories. Baby, It's Cold Outside by Jennifer Probst

I stopped at the library on my way home from work and picked up these loans that came in:
The Witch Elm by Tana French Archenemies (Renegades, #2) by Marissa Meyer An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks An American Marriage by Tayari Jones & Dear Mrs. Bird by A.J. Pearce

I'm trying to be patient for the start of UNO but.....maybe I 'm not doing so well with that.

Does anyone have any plans for the weekend?

Great~! I have a self-imposed ban on WWII books atm, but if you like it I may just read it next month ;)"

I finished Michael Grant's Front Lines trilogy series tonight! It was awesome. I recommend; though maybe not for UNO as they are big books! Lol... not that you need another 3 books to add to your tbr if you have a self imposed ban!
