Hi Stacey, I see you found your way to Uno ( sorry, not sorry!!) Have fun.

I’ll be listing any and all options for the mini that a book I read works for - exactly the same as we are doing for the cards. It gives captains more options to place books for the mini and it also gives players more flexibility to read
Everyone should be doing the same

Taste of Darkness
If it works for other options I’ll list those when finished

you can read whatever you like and our captains will place the books for us.We don't have to do that. All we need to do is read and then post the read book. It doesn't matter if you and I both read a book that is #1 in a series because we need lots of each number. My suggestion pick a book that you want to read and then come here to the thread and Caroline and Megan can help you figure out what options the book works for( if they aren't around there's sure to be someone else to help) I certainly don't mind helping you figure out anything.

Book synopsis looks intriguing- let me know what you think of it. I wouldn’t mind reading this later if you really like it.

Good to know but as a player that has lots of books left to add for the month I’ll not be searching for more coloured cards when they already have been claimed by others. If anyone else reads a book that fits a color card I’m sure they’ll shout out and ask if anything already claimed can be rearranged so their coloured card can be used. There are also two more months for lots of coloured cards to be read for. In my experience reading for a specific card such as a color card has never been the result of me experiencing fun in a team challenge or being included. Fun= getting to know your teammates and all the book discussions and chatter during the duration of a challenge because this is after all the “social” challenge.

I think post #51 was missed. Why would we need two more coloured cards when players have posted cards in their reading plans that will fit for the remaining two spots?

what about Megan's yellow 8 book and Karen's blue 1 book? Those would finish off the remaining two wild 4 cards.

Great! I bet we could get some of the “Others” to join us. Enjoy uno and see you soon!

Hi Cathy! Anything I say here just digs me a deeper hole doesn't it?
We should definitely do another buddy read for the next release!!

Hope you enjoy it. I did!

I am happy i`ve managed to join the team. Still, I don`t quite understand rules about choosing books to read. I mean , I understand colours rules , but I am not quite sure about characters , n..."
Yes, though only if someone else has read it. I haven't. You could compare books with the other teammates and see if maybe someone else has read it.

This is my first time playing UNO and I wasn’t sure about the rules for books either. I ended up just listing 4-5 books that I think I want to read next month. If you need help, j..."
Here are some tips for the participants that haven't played before: When reading your books for Uno have a pen and paper handy ( or your phone) to make a list of the characters that reoccur in your books. Look for the following letters: Z O T H F I S V E N K P. You already know 1-9 are the numbers of series that we are looking for. It helps!
