Ever looks over at Drane and laughs quietly but doesn't say anything. Drane's suprised exprerssion makes Ever grin.

Damien runs a hand through his slightly wid hair and looks back at her for a long moment. "It's the kind of place you never knew you were looking for until you find it" says Damien, his dark blue eyes thoughtful.

Ever runs a hand through her long hair, she smiles slightly despite everything, the moment is a nice calm one, not something that happens often.

Kol sits down next to Rory on the hospital bed an carefully moves her so he is holding her against his chest gently. Kol kisses her head and breathes Rory in, after losing her and then getting her back he feels like nothing could ruin this moment.

"Cute like as in baby goat cute?" says Damien with a smile.

Kol nods and helps Rory take off the gown and slide on the big t-shirt. It would be a lie to say seeing her in his old t-shirt doesn't make him happy, to have her back in his life, in all their lives is such a relief. Kol hadn't really minded being a lone dad, it had been hard but nothing he regreted. But now with Rory back things are going to be so much better, because now they can all be a family for real.

"They were fine when Ever called me" he says. Kol worries for a moment, what will they tell them. The boys had just started to move on with thier lives, nd now everything is going to change again, "I think we should wait until your a bit better before we tell them everything, i just do't want the first time they see you again to be when your so out of it. If were going to start a clean break then i really want it to be clean, no reminders of all the crap" he says with a troubled expression.

They both lapsed into a silence that wasn't uncomfortable, they didn't need to talk.

Damien reaches over and brushes some of Kylie's hair behind her ear, his hand lighly brushes her cheek as he moves it away "Cute? my accent has been described as many bleedin things luv but never cute" he says with a short laugh.

"yeah i know.... your life's still shit wherever you run away to" says Ever, she looks away from Drane, Ever has never been the 'share your feelings' type.

"Hell, im not one to judge, i've been juged all my life. An irish boy from the bad side of pretty much everywhere who...looks and sounds like i do....people a ssume things damn fast luv" says Damien.

"I thought maybe you might" says Ever quietly.

"I can help the love of my life get dressed" he kisses Rory's forhead lovingly. Kol knows the nurse had been waiting for him to say what he is to Rory. Girlfriend and boyfriend sounds so juevanile and unimportant, but technically they arent married so he went with the absoloute truth.

"I had quite enough of the spotlight when i was younger, for all the wrong reasons. Try lving in a town like this that nows all your buisness and pushes it in your face everyday. I was always the girl with the fucked up family. Thats a hard image to shake" says Ever with a sigh.

Damien can read her expression, he'd always been good at that, "Don't feel bad about having money, i wouldn't. We all get dealt different things in life, and how we handle each one, the good and the bad, are what makes us the people we eventually become" he says kindly.
