"Oh really. " says Ever with a small smile playing on her lips.

The look in he eyes wasn't what he expected, but then again he'd never really told anyone else, it wasn't something he liked to advertise, "No, well, i alwaysloved writing, but back when i was younger i never believed i was any good, no matter how many people told me i was. My...dad, and my mum put me down a lot when i was growing up, so my self esteem was a bit shot for a while. But witing is my life, it's what i was born to do, or at least it feel that way" says Damien. After a pause he asks "And you, what were you born for?".

"Luckily it's not all about you" Ever says, her smirk getting wider.

Kol nods and heads out the door quickly, he runs to his car and opens up the boot. He takes out what he went to get and then comes back inside. When he gets back to the room Kol unfolds what he is holding. Kol walks over to Rory and holds up the old black shirt, "Remember Ror, you LOVED this t-shirt, you were always nicking it from me when we first got together, you'd wear it everywhere even though it was my favourite" says Kol, he strokes a thumb over her face getly.

Ever looks down for only a moment before staring right back into Brayden's face, her blue intense gaze wild with uncertainty. "I want you Den...you know I do. I'm just scared...that I can't be all that you want me to be" says Ever, she does want him, she wants to kiss Brayden now, everytime she see's him.

Kol nods and walks through the doors of the hospital, he calls out for help from the passing doctors and one stops to sign them in. Kol carries Rory into a room with a hospital bed, the doctor is a young woman who checks Rory over carefully, Kol doesn't leave her side once.

Kol holds her close for a moment and bends his head to kiss her lips tenderly, with expert care, "Of course I will, i expect a special thank you though" says Kol with a secret smile. He loves her so much that it pains him to even look at her, he wants to make things right, but after two years a lot had changed.

"It doesn't take much with you" answers Ever, with a slight smirk.

Damien almost laughs at her flippancy, the 'thingy' got a lot of people killed, almost himself, "I didnt leave, once you join up with that kind of thing...it's impossible to get out...alive anyway. i was the boss's favourite, was his right hand man, he wanted me to be his successor, his son didn't like that. I was on a job, a man owed my boss money and i took a few men over to find him and.....give him an idea of how angry our boss was..." says Dmaien avoiding her gaze, "The son came round with some of his lot, and we got into a fight...a bad fight, guns and knives all over the place, a lot of people...died, and then the police showed up and i got arrested....i went on the run after i served" finishes Damien.

"Thats because you were pissing me off, and i wanted to piss you off too" says Ever with a shrug "Childish yes, but who wants to an adult anyway, they're the biggest fuck ups of them all"

"Leave? Leave where?" says Damien, he feels tense, he never like talking about his past with anyone, he just hopes she doesn't ask about family.

"I asked you one, and only because we were already talking about my age. I don't need to know anything else, not if you don't want to say it" Ever challenged back, she isn't one to give in easily.

Ever doesn't say anything for a while, sometimes it's better not to. "Me too? what does it all matter, they can't change it, it's not their business,i can look after myself" says Ever heatedly.

Damien laughs "Pole dancers, why would anyone with a shred of self respect do that? Only if you can't meet a real girl..." says Damien "More like i got in with some bad people, stole some cars, transported them for a really bad bloke, worked for him, at first just in the underground fight club, but when he found out i had brains as well as braun, he wanted me to do more dangerous stuff. I was young and angry" Damien shrugs, his past causing him to feel uneasy.

"You don't have to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable" says Ever gently"I always hated questions too, people ask too much" she says with a dark expression.

"Well you badass child you" jokes Damien "I was a more than a little bad....." he says thinking back over how bad he had really been, it's a part of his life Damien is not exactly proud of, he got in a lot of trouble back then.

"It's just a qustion Drane, im 19" says Ever, confused at his sudden change in tone.

"How old are you?" asks Ever.

"Don't tell me your secretly a bit bad?" says Damien with a bit of a smirk.

"yeah well, i can hardly remember school...but that might be because i bunked off and skivved pretty much all the time" he says smirks "But i bet you don't".
