Finished book 37! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...2014 is still ahead but I've read lots of books from earlier years. 2012 is in the double digits and 2010 made the cut!
I'm not putting a limit for this challenge and just seeing how far I can go. I've been reading a lot of interesting shelves too. :)

I read
, a story where 75 year olds join a Colonial Army that fights in outer space (there's a technology that allows them to become young again.) I gave it 3.5 stars and totally recommend it. Lots of nasty aliens, interesting cultures and plenty of action and the premise is super interesting. Definitely continuing the series.
Ooh, really good choice! Of course, the book I'm reading right now is in the second page of that shelf!Still lots of good choices in there.

I was very lucky...I found a couple of books on my TBR that fit the theme and the one I read turned out to be pretty good!I'm looking forward to next month's theme. :)

I read
, which was surprisingly good - gave it 4 stars. Very Gothic in atmosphere, with great characterization - all the characters made so much sense! - and the mystery of the dead wife was extremely well done. Almost everybody had a good reason to kill her so I didn't know who did it - and why! - until it was revealed at the end.
Finished book 18! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...2014 is still in the lead but finally read a book from 2011! Woohoo!

LOL, Bea! I kept thinking WTF every 5 seconds reading that book. I already have a shelf called "So bad it's funny" but at least with those I laugh.
