Oh wow! The young girls are adorable! Are they twins? (The rest are cute too but the youngest are cutest! Hahaha!)

8565 Finished book 37! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

2014 is still ahead but I've read lots of books from earlier years. 2012 is in the double digits and 2010 made the cut!

I'm not putting a limit for this challenge and just seeing how far I can go. I've been reading a lot of interesting shelves too. :)

8565 The shelf picture is so cute! Is that Lahni's family? Or just a random pic off the Interwebs?

8565 I'm reading two books from that shelf right now so here are the ones I'm considering:
Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta Life As We Knew It (Last Survivors, #1) by Susan Beth Pfeffer Life After Life by Kate Atkinson Bear, Otter, and the Kid (Bear, Otter, and the Kid, #1) by T.J. Klune The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay Dare You To (Pushing the Limits, #2) by Katie McGarry Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1) by Abbi Glines Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta Attachments by Rainbow Rowell Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones The Shadow of the Wind (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #1) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Lots of great variety!

8565 I read Old Man's War (Old Man's War, #1) by John Scalzi , a story where 75 year olds join a Colonial Army that fights in outer space (there's a technology that allows them to become young again.) I gave it 3.5 stars and totally recommend it. Lots of nasty aliens, interesting cultures and plenty of action and the premise is super interesting. Definitely continuing the series.

8565 Ooh, really good choice! Of course, the book I'm reading right now is in the second page of that shelf!

Still lots of good choices in there.

8565 My favorite in page one is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline , hands down. Too bad this shelf wasn't picked in July when Armada by Ernest Cline is coming out!

I'm surprised by how many books I have from this shelf. I have even more on my "get from library" shelf which I didn't even consider in the list above.

Yes, it's a good feeling. A lot of them have been good books too so I'm happy about that.

8565 I was very lucky...I found a couple of books on my TBR that fit the theme and the one I read turned out to be pretty good!

I'm looking forward to next month's theme. :)

8565 I read The Mistress of Trevelyan (Trevelyan, #1) by Jennifer St. Giles , which was surprisingly good - gave it 4 stars. Very Gothic in atmosphere, with great characterization - all the characters made so much sense! - and the mystery of the dead wife was extremely well done. Almost everybody had a good reason to kill her so I didn't know who did it - and why! - until it was revealed at the end.

8565 I found To Kill a Mockingbird in the Gothic shelf. The only questions I have are...HOW? WHY?
