Landed on P: Whitsundays, could I please have 3 picks from my shelf? Ta!"
Oh, have fun, Tien. I will be going on a smaller trip to try out my trailer. (Just 3 nights)
Selections to consider:
Victory of Eagles - I need to get back to this series. I did enjoy it alot but somehow it got lost in the ton of series that I read.
Women of the Dunes - I like the cover and title and added this one to my wishlist.
Big Cherry Holler - This book is set in the section of Virginia that I grew up in. Another book to add to my wishlist.
Thanks for letting me ramble about your shelves. :)

I gave it 1.5*"
Congrats on the finish. Your rating helped me make the decision to NOT dip my toes back into this book. I'm just not in the mood to struggle with a book.
Joanna, from the reviews and struggles of those of us who did try to engage with this book....well, you haven't missed much.

I loved The Hate U Give <3"
Actually, Paola, I couldn't follow The Underground Railroad. I found it confusing and disturbing without really having a handle on what was wrong. Not a feeling I enjoyed. But, I am glad that you loved the book you chose!

As I read over Rosemary's suggestions, I decided that Before We Were Yours would be my selection. And, then I got to Beth's list, and, lo and behold, the same book was suggested!
Guess which book it will be? Yep, Before We Were Yours. Thanks to both of you for prodding me to read this book.

Hi, Paola! Nice to see your here. I have chosen 3 that I read and had reactions to varying from 3* (OK but didn't really enjoy) to 5* (Made a definite impact on my life). I am not going to tell you my rating...let's see what you think.
The Underground Railroad
Le ragazze senza nome
The Hate U Give

Wow! Kristina, you are surely traveling! Here are a few for Great Ocean Road. I hope one appeals.
Some authors I have enjoyed:
Nora Roberts - Stars of Fortune I gave it 4*.
Octavia E. Butler - Parable of the Sower On my TBR. I read Kindred and enjoyed that book of hers.
Tony Hillerman - The Blessing Way I have read most of his.
