yes sir, under 7 Forges, can't find a way to share it from the Goodreads app on my phone, sorry.

I read 7 Forges after eagerly awaiting its release. I regretted it.

Just finished reading an author's collection for blurb. Now about to now finish SWORDS AND SORCERIES 2, then on to the DMR anthology.

I picked up RENEGADE SWORDS II, but first I'm reading the other anthology I also nabbed, SWORDS & SORCERIES RALES OF HEROIC FANTASY 2.

cool posts, keep 'em coming!
I came to S&S via Westerns, which followed Tarzan, which followed my mom reading aloud all of The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia. By 'followed' I mean accompanied, as did (like Joseph) every fantasy book I could find. Tolkien and Lewis and Burroughs led to Carson Napier (who I enjoy more than J.C.) and to my grandfather's books. He lived in Arizona and read Westerns and espionage and I loved them and the stories of cowboys and Indians and Max Brand and Louis L'Amour and Jason Bourne and Alistair MacLean. Next thing that came naturally in my lone wolf/solitary wandering hero life came books with S&S covers and thus came Conan and Kull.
I did not grow up with a television or going to movies or even seeing much of comics, but I had unlimited access to books of every kind. So I actually have no addiction or allegiance to any particular cartoon or movie, and I came late in life to SSOC, which I now collect.
My personal library reflects my belief that all these heroic stories are culturally and socially valuable and their tellings important, and I can trace their direct lineage from the mind of Robert E. Howard.

Kane is really REALLY great storytelling!

Richard, Clint, David, you're all on! I will message when ready to send along. thank you all!

actually, you know what? this group has great taste, so what do you say to this offer: first 5 folks who respond here and publicly pledge on John Carter's memory to read & post review of this book sooner then later I'll send e-version to this week.

thanks Seth!
Scott's name is properly spelled now, if you'd like to update the link :)
Also, not quite out yet - Kindle 4/23, print before or by then.

a bit of controversy brews ...
https://jeffro.wordpress.com/2021/03/... ...I must admit, I, too, found the combination of title and non-Appendix authors a bit... odd.

thanks, Seth! I'll try to carve out time to watch it. I begin a new job tomorrow, adding to the mix of things that make Jason fall further behind. Sigh. But a good sigh.

well dang, just found this, missed out!

welcome Mark! listing Erikson and Cook, you've found a friend in me! haven't read Andrews though, have to find some.

Great banner again, Seth - love me some Raistlin! And thanks for letting me keep reading my Jan-Feb anthology read as my Mar-Apr N read LOL

welcome warriors from other lands! except maybe Oregon, land of strangeness ;)

speaking of chores...finished BARBARIAN CROWNS II. Don't read it. Sorry. I'm back 2 my other anthologies now.

@Richard, yay for Amra! I could use a new story of hers about now, miss that gal.

@Carrie, Nice! I'm a multi-book-at-a-time reader as well, but I must say, splitting time while reading Malazan, especially just kicking things off, is asking for trouble :) And most likely not going to last, as you'll dive directly into the wonderfully deep world and rush to spend the next year or two reading all of it sans distractions!

ayson's NEW STORIES FOR MEN.

I am reading Peter Bebergal's APPENDIX N. and Charles Gr
