Phil! Your description of the Kane shorts as providing more psychological insight into Kane is spot on! I've enjoyed the 2 novels I've read thus far, but I really enjoy the shorts even more. I've selected Death Angel's Shadow for my reading delight.

I am reading Death Angel's Shadow (I've read Bloodstone & Dark Crusade. Interestingly enough and previously unknown to me, the opening short actually follows Dark Crusade, a neat point of synchronicity I must say). 5 pages in and I'm already loving me some Kane.

Suh-weeeeeeet banner sir! I'm in, making my selection today.

Hi A.R.!
Thanks for the great words about WFH - especially the formatting ;)

Fun stuff and high adventure, if I may say so :)

Sweet, congrats Jason. And is that...yes, it is - a new Normand cover! Nice :)
Phil wrote: ""Remember that time when...?" is an awesome way to kick-start an S&S story, IMO. Robert E. Howard stated that he wrote the Conan stories as if Conan were standing over him, relating anecdotes of hi..."Love the mental image your comment created for me Phil :) And that WWII example is a pretty darn strong one.

Sweet - does sound good, and cool to hear there were enough compelling stories to immediately release 2 volumes. Not so cool my story didn't make the cut, but hey, I'm looking forward to seeing whose did.

Charles, Mortlock is Bruce Durham's character.
Not that Ty is not a very good writer, but Bruce is also a very good writer :)

:) A friend at work has played it twice through to level 81 and completed the overall quest. He's also bought and done all 3 expansions. And now he just started a new character using one of the cat-people to challenge himself.
I tell him some of us have lives...yet I'm green with envy ;)

Shoot, whenever I allow myself to play it's at least an 8-hour fest/trance. I can't quit, even when I know I haven't moved in hours and I have to get up and head out the door soon.
That's why I don't allow myself to play very often. I'm only level 42 so far.

Awesome! Thanks for posting, I had missed this. I've enjoyed the Gaunt and Bone tales I've read in the past. Another good score by Lou and Pyr!

Love the write-ups Paul. Sounds like I gotta get me some Kemp, Egil, and Nix!

Thanks for linking this, very cool!

Good tale Steve. I enjoyed the full circle return to having 3 Sons...though I also enjoyed the suspense you held me in wondering if you would pull an unthinkable and have a Son renege on his oath! Glad to read another of your stories my friend!

Yes, these all were great discussions, and the ones I was a part of were also great fun. It is most enjoyable gathering with friends to discourse on a topic of mutual interest to all.

Hey, you stole my words -- but as long as a Jason says 'em all's good!
Another spectacular banner Seth!

Sweet quotes, post, and article! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all! I have a passion for this title and can not wait to put it in people's hands. It's been a long time coming...unfortunately there seems to be yet another snafu delaying release. The printer says the black gradient of the text is inconsistent and rejected the file. A proof copy should be in my hands Monday and I will review it. I'm not sure how/why that would happen as I didn't do it intentionally, but hopefully it's a simple fix.
