One of my fave S&S reads. Great fun!
If I were back in CA I would have gladly sent you one of my two copi..." That's kind of you Michael! It's been recommended a couple times in the last few days now, so I'm looking forward to reading it.
Michael Fierce wrote: "Sounds awesome Jason and I do want to read it. But I haven't been able to read a single word since my dog passed away almost three weeks ago. Great offer! Someday!" Ah, I am sorry to hear that, Michael. Losing a best canine friend is tough, and so is losing the desire to read. I wish you swift recovery and many fine memories.
Richard wrote: "A handsome offer. Have you considered posting on the Whetstone discord? You should get your quota within minutes." Thanks Richard! That is my 3rd target if I don't land 3 readers here. I started narrow from the REH/Conan 'pros' to the S&S 'pros' first :) Are you interested?
Clint wrote: "I’m so excited about this, I keep forgetting parts: I agree to read and post prior to 4/28"Excellent on all your answers Clint! Please email me at RBFHeroicLit@gmail.com so I can send it along.

I have THE LAST MAGICIANS winging its way to me for my JJ honorary read.

Sounds good to me!
Jason wrote: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Jason. I believe we first crossed paths back on the SFReader Forum, oh so long ago, and I wonder if you were one of the slush readers for Flashin..."Aww man, Jason! From one cool-named guy to another, you make me blush. I can't tell you enough how positive your words are and make me feel. Thank you.
S.E. wrote: "Saluting Jason. You reignited a generation with Return of the Sword and many collections after that. Glad you can at least put time toward your own writing."Thank you for the kind words, Seth. You have always been super-encouraging and that has meant much over the years. I look forward to reading your thoughts on my future writings :)

Apologies for being late here, but for those who haven't seen it on the RB website, Whetstone Discord, or RBE Facebook, here is my retirement and final S&S anthology announcement:

Joseph wrote: "It's not entirely S&S...It's a mixed genre bag [b..."I'll say! I was overall disappointed in that one and did not keep it in my library. I have the follow-up ROGUES but have not read it yet. Probably gun shy now.

little bit of most everything. I like biographies, WWII and USMC history and novels, espionage, Westerns, big fantasies. Don't read much scifi though.

Cromcast Chronicles, just finished #1, on to #2

WEIRD TALES #366

WHETSTONE #6

Just received and read the Ablaze The Cimmerian "The Frost-Giant's Daughter" and added it to the Conan collection. Loved the depiction of Conan's dominating will and passion. Bloody, yes, but like a movie filmed in a lot of darkness, it obscures too much and lets things be sloppy.

Hello there, Paul! liking Conan is a great start.

Tales from the Magician's Skull #8 & Special #2 (I'm guessing Special #1 was that #0 issue?).
