I just thought I'd put this here. Lost 'n Found is holding a cool fundraiser. It's a buy a brick campaign to help fund renovating a 6,000 square foot transitional housing facility and Youth Center to get kids off the street.
The bricks start at $125, which is honestly too rich for me at the moment, but I have a plan to entice a group of friends here on GR to split the cost with me. Thanks for the idea, Deirdre!
So, this isn't a challenge or anything, but maybe just planting a seed. Maybe you can do the same with friends from GR or work or your neighborhood. The small bricks can have up to 3 lines of engraved words. I'll bet you can come up with something pretty clever and inspiring to say on your brick.
Anyway, do what you will with this info. Buy a brick, donate to LnF, or just spread the word. This organization does important work and have really made a difference. I like to support things like that :)

I tend to like grumps and grouches, they are often hiding something tender underneath, but these guys Brandon's describing are something else entirely, huh? Will they have any redeeming qualities?
