That's an interesting question, Allan. I don't recall a reference to Sloppy Joe, what made you think of that? *I've had a beer at the bar though ;)
I leave for a couple of days and you all lose your shit, geez! When every word counts, that IS very special, Irish. And it's why we gravitate to Brandon's work. No BS for BS. ;)
I'm currently sitting at ATL waiting to fly home after getting to meet up with some of my favorite peeps here. Brandon graciously showed us the neighborhood where Hunter and Dillon (Afflicted) met. To say it's exactly as I pictured is putting it mildly, it's charming. He even pointed us in the direction of Sid’s building *swoon
I think OJ's nurturing inspiration is, uhm, inspiring. It sounds like we're on track for some early fall Wicked Men. WooHOO!
Happy Independence Day, Americans!
(Just saw a guy dressed in a head to toe lycra American flag fist bump everyone walking by. Wish I'd had my phone on me then.) Oh Atlanta!
Happy Father's Day, Brandon! You're one of the best!!!!!And to all the reader dads, and reader's dads, I hope its a beautiful day :)
Sooo, we all enjoy a smexy shower scene, hmm? But how do you feel about a sultry soak in an oversized tub?
I know I'm it the only one here that would tell you to drop EVERYTHING and read Cold now! Nothing else like it.
Not what you expect.
Lem.
I could have just said Lem.
:D
-And still the music floated down.
Shire, Brandon. Afflicted: A Blind Gay Romance (Kindle Location 1883). TPG Books. Kindle Edition.
I was going to pull a longer quote, but nah, you just have to be there.
I do believe our man, Brandon, wrote one of the very best shower scenes I've read. Ever. Is that Afflicted 1 or 2? Checking....
Brandon wrote: "Such interesting conjecture..."Can you imagine if this group actually used their imagination for improving the world rather than fiction?

Uh, maybe it's a good thing you've got us all tied up here, Brandon.
Maybe Sid is even greedier than we imagined and the power his father's law firm represents pales in comparison to the power he would have controlling Marion's empire. He'd need Jack's help to tame that beast though.
Elena wrote: "what is it that Sid knows about Shane “a lot more” than Jack? ."This ^^^ right? I gotta know. And even as much as I gotta know what, I gotta know how Sid knows. You know?
:p
OJ wrote: "What about Raja? I think there's still a torrid scene with Raja in it. Raja and Jack to drive Sid crazy? That'd be so hot!"And, oh damn!
Mayyyybe Lee is a plant. We know we don't trust Lori. Or is that just me? But oh how I love that Sweeny turned all mother hen for him. I ask you, who else would have the balls to swat Drake's arm!?
Irish darlin', you know if I wanted to twist your arm it'd be with leather and rope. Not verbally.
....
Well maybe verbally too. Hmmm.
