Haha, poor Brandon. I just emailed him my thoughts on the covers and then discovered you all here talking about 'em. Man, oh man, if people think we differ on their book tastes, then they should see what we think about covers :D

Here are my thoughts 0.0

Wow, for once I have a very strong opinion.

1. Could be any book cover.
2. He has a headache.
3. I'm so sorry, but that is a miscarriage happening and it's very uncomfortable to look at. If this were a book about a ballerina who moved like smoke, then yes, this one would be great. But for a story about miscarriage. NO.
4. Too cervix. Plus the orchids are just plopped on the cover as an afterthought.
5. THIS ONE IS IT! It speaks to the nature of his raw, pained struggle. It's not sexual, it's painful, moody and grabbed my attention before I had even looked at the rest.
6. Same as #1, could be any book cover.

I love that we're a diverse group, all with strong thoughts and opinions. Like I said though, poor Brandon. I'm afraid we're more confusing than helpful.

I guess the question would be whether moving the page would change it's search engine status or not? Also is it a consideration that you'll have less traffic to brandonshire.com?

Personally I don't think redirecting your funding efforts, to broaden your scope would be a bad idea. although it must feel a little strange to "set your babies free."
