The Lament of Mother EarthI gave the gift of life
To them all:
The plants,
The animals,
And the proud humans.
In the beginning
There was balance,
The scales of existence
Were level.
But now
The humans are ruining it all.
Their greed knows no bounds,
They out-locust the locusts,
They empty the ground
To build up to the sky.
And so,
Even my life-giving rain
Has become polluted.
It has become the burning tears
Of a weeping mother.
"New Generation Thinker Dr Hetta Howes investigates why artists from Chaucer to Taylor Swift have found creative inspiration in restless nights and interrupted dreams." ( BBC)Really? Chaucer would be honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence as Ms Swift ....
Computer games? I have heard of those. I did play one called Pacman once, but I was too slow, and I kept getting killed by the ghosts.
Glad you like it. I'm not aware of any direct link between Patti and Anton. But it's a powerful poem.
It depends on the type of bot. Some bots have no emotion circuits, whereas some do, including a disgust circuit.
