I've only just finished season 8 (wish I'd read Fray) and I wanted some advice on where to read Willow Wonderland. I heard about it a while ago and the art was so beautiful that I had to buy the comics, which meant I accidentally ruined the end of season 8 by reading the concept behind the comic. I'm just looking for some advice on if I can read it straight after season 8 or if it falls during season 9 at some point so I should start reading that? Any help from fellow Buffy fans would be great thanks :)

Thanks Lashya.

Our second post is up now. Introducing December's theme of the month -

Thanks Barbara, I didn't know I could change comment settings. I've just had a look and it was already set to let people that don't have a WP blog to comment but they do need to fill out their name and email address.

Probably not harder than Shakespeare but definitely hard. I'd advise watching some videos of Scots to make it easier to read, what makes it worse is that his characters are often Glaswegian which is the broadest accent of them all!

Amazing choices! Jasper Fforde and Christopher Brookmyre are two of the best authors around just now. If you're not familiar with the Scottish dialect then Brookmyre might be a little difficult at first because he very much writes how we speak over here, please stick with him though his stories are very worth it!

Thanks Chimney :) what books did you add?

Well she's older but then my mum had never heard of her when she named me so probably a coincidence. She also pronounces the A like AR whereas my name is just pronounced normally.

Thanks Kelly. Really looking forward to getting it started :)

He's actually a toy spider. I'm terrified of the real ones!

We have done our first post. Our spider interviewed us about books.

Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure. I think to post comments you need an email address but I don't think you need to sign in to a Wordpress account or anything. My mum has posted a couple of comments and she doesn't have a blog.

Yea, the second link is where the new geekery and book reading will all be (I can't post a first post until my girlfriend wakes up) and the first link is where my normal life rants take place.

Howdy all.
So I've been blogging for quite a while over at
www.toastedjamsandwich.wordpress.com but not often and it quite often gets ranty. Luckily my equally as ranty and bookwormy girlfriend and I have set up a join blog over at
www.bentspines.wordpress.com We will be having a theme every month and blog about the books we choose to read for those themes and I will also be having my own little comic book corner as well. Although there are no posts up there just now I will no doubt update and pester you all when there are!

Oh wow Chimney, that's amazing! I'd love to do something like that for my little brother. I've got four of my other half's presents wrapped, I'm just waiting for all the other presents to arrive. Got everything ordered from online so I didn't have to bother with Christmas shoppers. It was in theory supposed to give me more time to do coursework but that failed.

I have so much respect for all you Americans, I couldn't handle two big family gatherings in two months! The stress of Christmas is enough for me!

In that case I'd like to recommend the first volume of the Fables comic.

I completely agree about Quantam of Solace. My Nan took me and my brother to see it and she hadn't seen Casino Royale and it put her off Daniel Craig and the new bond films in general.
Has anyone gotten around to buying Xmas presents? I'm trying to get some done just now, I'm choosing to do them all thought the computer so I don't have to leave the house.

Wreck it Ralph isn't out over here yet :(
I haven't seen Skyfall yet, I need to get that sorted as soon as! I'm loving Daniel Craig almost as much as I love Sean Connery.
The winter is beginning to get to me, I've got a cold and I'm finding it hard to leave the house without a really good reason, which is practically never!
