721 Stalin's Wine Cellar was a great Australian non-fiction read! I particularly enjoyed the audio, as I sometimes get bogged down when I'm reading text with lots of unfamiliar foreign words.

721 For anyone who enjoyed AA Kate Solly’s debut, Tuesday Evenings with the Copeton Craft Resistance, there will be an author talk at Balwyn Library on 15 June, in the evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring their crochet WIPs!

I got the details from Boroondara Library newsletter, so I imagine the registration link is available on their website too (otherwise send me a message and I’ll forward my link).
721 Oh good - I’ve been meaning to read this for ages. I’m in!

721 The Eighth Life is the longest book I've ever read, but all those weeks were invested in an unforgettable story. Not perfect, but certainly quite special.

Yes Kim, she still has a very strong accent, but has lived here for many years.

721 Wild Card by AA Simon Rowell was a great follow-up to his earlier book, The Long Game. Anyone looking for a new Aussie crime series to get their teeth into could do a lot worse!

721 The Hoarder by Jess Kidd was such an unexpected delight, I gave the audiobook 5 stars. It has an alternative title of Mr. Flood's Last Resort in some markets.

Trish, the deal is live, but quite different from previous years. Not free (for me), and with strings attached. Here is the link for US site, but I couldn't for the life of me navigate to the AU equivalent.
