For a Lifetime by Gabrielle Meyer
if you enjoy historical fiction and have no issues with (mild) Christian content in novels, you ought to give this amazing series a try!

The Two Deaths of Ruth Lyle by Nick Louth
Such a good concept, but such a lazy ending!

What Was Never There by Elizabeth Maria Naranjo
A beautifully written short story collection, but the endings were a mixed bag for me.

Never thought I would be an outlier for my first Discworld book. :(

The Cats of Silver Crescent by Kaela Noel
Who would have thought that a book with such a title and cover would be a dud! :(

I am not sure how many readers here would find this interesting, but this is among the best graphic novel series I have EVER read, indie or otherwise. If you like this genre, do try!The Cursed Princess series by LambCat is completely out on Webtoon, but in the graphic novels, it is not even halfway done. I read the entire series from the webtoon app.
Reviews for all four books:
1. Cursed Princess Club Volume One: A WEBTOON Unscrolled Graphic Novel

The Shadow Key by Susan Stokes-Chapman
A mixed bag for me. The atmosphere is great, but the characters and the infodump endings somewhat ruined the overall satisfaction.

The Great Divide by Cristina Henríquez
A novel not about the Panama Canal, but set during the construction of the canal. If you love character-oriented fiction, this is a great option to try.

Big Bad Wolf Investigates Fairy Tales: Fact-checking your favourite stories with SCIENCE! by Catherine Cawthorne
One of the best children's nonfiction I have read in ages.

Red Runs the Witch's Thread by Victoria Williamson
A spooky novella loosely based on true events in 1720s Scotland.

Chernobyl: The Fall of Atomgrad by Matyáš Namai
A graphic novel about the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Won't have much to offer if you have already read other nonfiction works on the topic, but a good book for those who want a quick gist of the events.

Our Daughter, Who Art in America by Mukana Press
An interesting anthology for those who would enjoy short stories infused with African culture.

Floored by Chrissie Harrison
A romcom that tries too hard to be impactful. A decent debut. though.

Frank and Red by Matt Coyne
One of the sweetest stories I have ever read. The titular characters are the best!

The Wishkeeper's Apprentice by Rachel Chivers Khoo
A nice but dark magical book for middle graders.

Between You and Us by Kendra Broekhuis
A nice read if you want a sliding door story with tricky life choices, but could have worked better for me.

The Book of Witty Women: 15 new laugh-out-loud stories by women writers by various women writers.
Not at all as laugh-out-loud as promised. Might work better as a general story collection.
