Celestial Monsters by Aiden Thomas
The second book of the Sunbearer duology and a worthy continuation. Worked pretty much as a YA Fantasy should.

Widow Fantasies by Hollay Ghadery
A slice-of-life short story collection with a strong feminist theme. Might have worked better for me had I liked slice-of-life, but for those who like this style, it is a great option.

Two Doors Down by Mary Hargreaves
A good book, but not at all a romcom as advertised. Thankfully, I like drama better than romcoms, so it worked well for me.

Ocultos by Laura Pérez
A graphic short story collection that was too weird and surreal for my liking.

Let the Purring Begin: Sapphire's Tale by Sallie Cochren
A sweet little indie book that will work for all cat lovers, aged middle-grade upwards.

Garlic and the Witch by Bree Paulsen
A worthy sequel to the first book. Much recommend this MG graphic novel series.

Murder in Punch Lane by Jane Sullivan
With such a stunning cover and title, I expected far more from this Aussie murder mystery based on true facts. it wasn't bad, but it certainly could have done better.

Garlic and the Vampire by Bree Paulsen
A middle-grade fantasy graphic novel that I read with my daughters. Great plot and life lessons!

The Phoenix and the Firebird by Alexis Kossiakoff
A good adventure-fantasy for middle-graders.

How to Piss Off Men: 109 Things to Say to Shatter the Male Ego ny Kyle Prue
The most interesting thing about this book was its title.

The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer
While this is getting mixed reviews, it actually worked pretty well for me. Don't expect a faithful Narnia retelling. Great for portal fantasy lovers.

Beyond Ivy Walls by Rachel Fordham
A charming old-world clean romance. I don't often pick up romance books, but make an exception for a few authors. Rachel Fordham is one of them.

The Story Collector by Evie Woods
I had liked ‘The Lost Bookshop’ by this author, but this book was mostly a dud.

Vā: Stories by Women of the Moana by various Polynesian woman writers.
An astounding anthology featuring 38 women of Polynesian heritage. I adore this cover!

The Solitary Sparrow by Lorraine Norwood
It takes some time to get into this indie novel, and it has some flaws as well, but overall, it does offer an interesting plot.

Her Lonely Soul by S.A. Dunphy
The weakest book in the Tessa Burns series for me, though it had its good moments.

The Spice Gate by Prashanth Srivatsa
Not gonna lie, I had a jolly good time writing this review, which compensated for how bored I was while reading the book.

Feral Creatures of Suburbia by D. Liebhart
One of the best indie novels I have read in a long time. Great use of the triple narrative voices.
