My twin also has still not replied. They haven't logged on either (according to their profile) since last month. I am not sure what to do.

I am at about 47% through the book now. Enjoying it. Is anyone else going to join in the chapter discussions? Just curious lol

Has
The Couple Next Door been discussed in this group yet? If not, I would like to nominate that!

I haven't heard from my twin yet ... I hope all is well.

I'd love that. As for who I relate to so far, probably Tibby though I pray I am not as snotty. I am so the girl sitting home every summer (or working through it, as the case may be) while everyone else is having fab adventures haha

I read the first 6 chaps + the prologue so far. It's different than I expected it to be but still fun!

I looked up the casting for the movie. Tibby, Carmen and Bridget are especially well cast.

I am enjoying this book so far. Tibby is a bit of a snot but I get it would suck to be stuck home all summer with two smelly babies (her siblings) for company and a boss like Duncan lol
I feel bad for Carmen. Her dad failed big time when he didn't tell her he was getting married before she came. What a bombshell to drop on someone so suddenly. I hope he explains why he didn't tell her what was going on, in future chapters.
Bridget and Eric will be a thing I am sure though she's 15 and he's 19 so if they do it, that's statutory rape which is ick.
Lena knows she's gorgeous and doesn't trust boys because of it, it seems. I like her sister Effie better than her. She has a fun personality.
I will definitely keep reading. I want to see the first movie when I'm done to compare it to the book.

For Stephen King fans (of which there appears to be many in this thread), maybe we can try Under the Dome in July, Cell in August and The Tommyknockers in September? Just throwing an idea out there to see if it sticks lol

I just started reading this. I like it so far. It's really cute. Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts on it in June!

Persuasion in July sounds doable :) I'd love to join in the fun.
