58421 I met my goal of reading 55 books in 2016 (actually, in the end I read 58) and want to try for 60 this year. Below I will be keeping track of everything I am reading or plan to read.
58421 Yes a lot of cozy series start off slow and sort of bumble their way along as we learn about the characters and their connections, but this one is really capturing my attention already. I am on Page 98.

I *think* I discovered how the murder was committed and yet ruled a suicide. I just have no clue who did it or why. Well, I suspect people but who knows if I'm right lol I hope to read more in the morning.

Thank you. I will start reading it tonight or tomorrow!

Me either! It was a big surprise. I am enjoying this book more and more. What page are you on now?

I'd like to read the Dark Materials series sometime. Maybe in April, as you suggested??

Wow The Dead House sounds awesome! I'd love to read it but wouldn't be able to commit until February at the earliest, unfortunately. I already knee-deep in buddy reads and TBR twins lol

58421 Can I be added to this discussion? My off-line book club is reading this this month and I figure it will be fun to discuss it with as many people as I can :)
58421 I just hit Page 71. We learn

58421 Call me crazy but I'd love to read The Six Wives of Henry VIII by Alison Weir
The Shining (29 new)
Jan 04, 2017 10:45PM

58421 Anyone reading this or about to read it? lol
58421 Hello there! I got the book today in the mail - finally lol I started it right away. I like the main character Alison already and her daughter seems adorable. Her friends are fun characters too. I like the male ghost but the female one is just rude. I guess I might be rude too though if I'd been murdered and seemingly trapped for eternity in limbo. I will keep reading to catch up with you. This is my first time trying a "supernatural" cozy but its fun. It started out a little slow and full of exposition but now I feel we're getting into the swing of things. I can't wait to keep reading.

I can't wait to start it. Unfortunately Amazon says it won't be here until TOMORROW. urgh lol But as soon as it gets here, I will begin reading. I can't wait to discuss it.
