I started reading it tonight. I am on The Arrest - Chapter 13. It's really fast-paced, eerie and interesting. Very different than the typical Stephen King book in my opinion. I can't wait to find out what's going on.
(view spoiler)[I figure there's a twist coming up in there somewhere. I feel bad for Terry's family. They seem genuinely blindsided. I wonder if Terry is as guilt-free as he seems. He appears to know nothing of the crime but how else to explain all the evidence?? (hide spoiler)]

I will try to start this Tuesday or Wednesday. I am excited to read it though my mom spoiled (unintentionally) a major part of the plot for me when I mentioned I was planning to read it *sigh* lol

Also suggesting
Virgin River for May (open to other months)

I will start this on the weekend, I think. I have a book (Or two lol) to finish first.

I haven't read Stephen King in some time either. I've read more of his older books as well, including Misery, Pet Sematary, and a few others. I look forward to this one.
Mandy wrote: "i would like to read this book"We'd like to discuss it with you if you read it :)

This is one of King's thick books so I hope I can finish it in a month, but I've heard it's
very good, so I am excited to read it!

I am excited to tackle this one. I read it years ago when I was a teenager. My late, beloved grandmother gave me a copy and encouraged me to read it, knowing I would love it and I did. She helped nurture the burgeoning young reader in me, so I have quite fond feelings for this book. I just don't remember much of what happened in it so this will be a nice refresher. :)

Can't wait to read & discuss this one :)
Rebecca wrote: "I had fun reading it. I actually downloaded the second one and read the first three chapters last night while I was in the mood to continue."Awesome. I might start reading book 2 this week or next as well :)

So glad you got to finish it and enjoyed it! I enjoyed it as well and definitely see myself continuing the series at some point.
(view spoiler)[The couple's motive was twisted, and I didn't suspect them at all lol I loved Aurora's relationship with her little brother. It was so sweet how she protected him. (hide spoiler)]Thanks for reading this with me!

Yes! Thank you so much SarahKat & Trisha. Your organizational skills and helpfulness are so appreciated :)

I know it's late in the month, but I think I can start this in the morning - finally! lol

I want to suggest the book
Chances by
Jackie Collins for May. I'm open to other months. Ideally it will be a 2-month read though because it's longggg (over 800 pages!).
