I pulled it off my leaning bookshelf and dusted it off (lol) so I can start it tonight, I hope.

Hi, there. I will start the book this weekend. I look forward to discussing it.

Unfortunately (I really hate to do it!) I have to drop out of the Twilight & Women's Murder Club buddy reads. I am just so behind. I apologize to everyone in my reading group!

It says I signed up for 6 books? Oh lol Well, I changed my goal. 5 is enough for me. TY again.

I completed my challenge. Thanks so much for hosting!

1/4 Bingos now complete :)

I would like to nominate
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by
C.S. Lewis. Simply put, the concept of the novel is quite
original and unique, & at the time it was published, it was something readers really hadn't seen in literature before.
Current TBR = 3086Where are these books coming from? They're multiplying, I tell you!!

Hey friends, I'm sorry I am super late checking in. I got distracted by other reads & challenges. I apologize. However, I am going to spend this week finishing the book. I just finished chapter 4.
(view spoiler)[So Bella is going with Edward to Seattle. I am excited for it. I think - know - things will change for them there, that there will be a big shift in their relationship somehow. Edward is very reluctant to let her in, but as we learn at the end of chapter 4, he's tired of trying to stay away from her. He clearly has caught the feels. I would say he had them from the moment he saw her and that probably explains why he was so rude and stand-offish. Maybe that's why anyway.
I find myself rooting for Bella and Edward. I'll admit I wasn't always Team B&E. Shocker, I know. I rooted for Bella and someone else who we will soon meet but I am sort of falling for Edward and Bella now which surprises me. I am under their spell, and I can't even exactly say why. I am enjoying this re-read. I think I'm more of a romantic in my old age haha
Poor Mike, Tyler, and Eric have no chance with Bella whatsoever. They need to catch the memo, poor guys. Jessica is not a real friend for Bella, but I can't help but wonder if it's because Bella is not even trying to be a real friend to her?? That's the part that frustrates me about this book. Bella doesn't even try with these people. She only cares about Edward, it seems. C'mon, girl, he's hot, we get it, but get a hobby lol (hide spoiler)]

I need to withdraw from this readathon, unfortunately. I just got Covid and it's really knocking me down. I am afraid starting a new challenge on top of the ones I am already in would be taxing. I'm sorry!
