I have this one on the pile Marilyn - I just requested it from the libary today...maybe need a couple of new threads...nordic but not noir and noir but not nordic ;)

i have the first one sitting in the DVD player - started watching it and got distracted...should probably get back to it

i might get it on DVd, i'm still up in the air on if i'll do the theatre...i don't get the whole make Lisbeth more violent...that makes no sense

i recommend if you are having a hard time reading TGWTDT that you try the audiobook - Simon Vance who did the narration is great

i'm debating getting these on dvd - has anyone watched them?

i doubt hollywood will do it justice - i can think of several sections that will likely be pretty-fied

you wanna maybe throw this up for a nomination for the group read? i'm inerested - if not buddy read

I have Jar City to read as well

@ pam - NN is the name for lots of the mysteries that come out of the scandinavian countries
@ marilyn - totally agree - love the graphic / dark and disturbing nature of them

Marilyn - I have lucifer's tears in print if u wanna borrow it - just let me know

hi Dee - found NN through Steig Larsson's books...then randomly picked up a James Thompson and I was hooked

Since we just went live today - we'll leave the nominations open until the 27th and then vote ;)
