that's what I was thinking!

Ellie - i'm the same - I think I have like anywhere from 5-10 books going at once...right now a translated russian lit that is a chapter a night kind of book; a book of short stories; a peace corps memoir; an ARC for another group; an audiobook and several books on my kindle

lol...well, you'll have to wait and vote!!

thanks to Dalia for the idea - I just posted the thread for the November Author of the Month nominations.

Thanks to Dalia for this idea!
In addition to the monthly group read, we are also going to feature an Author of the Month. This will give us the opportunity to read various books from different points in the series.
RulesThe author needs to have at least 3 books either published, or in the process of being published (release date available)
Nominations will be open until the 27th. We will vote from then until the 31st.

Dalia - interesting idea - lemme talk to Naomi and see what we come up with ;)
Dalia wrote: "Since so many of us are in different spots in series' how about an author read instead of specific book?"

I figured since you normally do - that I would...lol!

@ Susan - nope Jar City hasn't been a book of the month read yet

book 1 hasn't been translated over here and this one introduces Konrad Sejer - so I think its technically could be book 1

it needs to be the first in the series

i'm working on my proposal- so ha!! taking a break
I hope they can come up with a fix for you!i don't know if anyone can fix her ;)

It is apparently based on the series by
Anna Jansson - but it doesn't look like any of them have been translated
