So which author would you guys like to have as our featured author in June?

I finished up Last Rituals the other day - I agree with the comments about how she relates to Bella, but at the same time, having worked in a situation where you intensely dislike a co-worker, the portrayal felt familiar...other than that, I kinda had it figured out who did it early on, so I wasn't that surprised. if i decide to continue on, it will be through the library, but I don't think they have any other of her books

not yet...but hey Diane - if you hold off until May, she is the featured author :)

The only book my library had by her was Last Rituals which worked well because it is the first in the series. i picked it up today and can't wait to start reading it in May

a non Nordic Noir author (Karin Slaughter) did something similar with one of her books that shook up a lot of her fans and lost her some, because she realized that she could only have so many murders and crimes before stuff started getting unrealistic...to me, it takes guts for an author to do that and I appreciate their writing all the more

yeah - my mom's family (or what's left of it) - her uncle, some cousins etc

yep - they leave tomorrow - heading up to MI for a week or so before heading back to australia
