Tracy, it's hysterical, I laughed so hard with those books and they get more addicting as they go!

LOL well this one is absolutely worth the read, so I'm glad we've pushed you to read it. =)

This one was more of just for the fun of it, so no worries. I would love to go back and see what some of my favorites would be! LOL

51477 Just finished Choices (Choices, #1) by Sydney Lane and ugh it was painful to read. Such an obvious plot with simplistic writing, not a fan.

On to an ARC of Pretty Reckless by Jodi Linton , which has impressive reviews for a new author. Crossing my fingers I've snagged a good one here!! Also starting up Alienated (Alienated, #1) by Melissa Landers , Lover Awakened (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #3) by J.R. Ward (because I love Zsadist!!)

Yep, I agree. It's unfortunate because this really was a favorite of mine! There are a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews up for it, so maybe it won't be a miss across the board.

Exactly! There should have just been a spin-off made or something!

Yeah, I couldn't believe it was going on AGAIN. It really could have ended a few books ago, but book 5 really had the perfect ending spot and it was washed over! =/ I honestly think you'd tire of this one, which I hate to say.

I thought she would, she definitely appreciates honesty from people when it comes to her work. Part of what I love about her! =)

Yeah, she originally wasn't going to release it because it wasn't received well. I was surprised when I saw her post about it being released, so either she decided to just roll with it or she tweaked it a bit!

Oh, there's definitely more, she's essentially blown everything out of the water that was set up in book 5 and started a whole new facet of the story that seemed out of left field. And the ending took them even farther away from a HEA, which really irked me. There are a lot of positive reviews, I just am at a loss with this and I feel really bad because Bella is such a sweet and appreciative author.

No it's not, and the series is seriously dragging and the turn it took this time is just...I don't know. It just needs to end, but now it's like we're back to square one, when book 5 actually could have left it all at a HEA and been over and done with. Bummed!!

51477 Amanda wrote: "When I was answering the Black Dagger Brotherhood question, I noticed that there was a new book to be released in 2014. Does anyone know when this might be (or am I missing something)?"

Yes! The King (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #12) by J.R. Ward is set for release April 1!

51477 Okay, so has anyone else read A Gate of Night (A Shade of Vampire #6) by Bella Forrest yet? I finished it over the weekend, and I'd love to bounce thoughts around with someone on this one. I really didn't like the tone to this one and I am actually upset where the storyline went. I hate to say that because I've loved this series, maybe a few days will give me some perspective!

I am SO excited to read See Me, Wendy was nervous about the reception but it's getting good feedback since release.

I'm about to start Zsadist's story, hopefully over the weekend! Loved him and I can't wait to see a book all about his character.

51477 Ugh, i wish my phone had a 'reply' option for the threads, but oh well...
Belkis- yep it's at 6 now, and honestly i love her writing but i think it should have ended two books ago. It's dragging out, and even though there are twists and shockers, i just want the HEA already!! Lol

Lynn-wow you are a champ, i need to read zsadist's story after that cliffie but I'll have to take a breather and get more reviews done after that. Glad you loved it, ewere there any you recommend skipping over? I saw iffy reviews on a few and it has me wondering.

Adjded Alienated to my currently rjeading pile since it looks really good and i need a great YA read break from the contemp romance soon!
