That's one of the great things about the hunt, getting exposed to books you wouldn't otherwise! It's kind of like book sharing with a little excitement added to the mix. LOL

STOP STOP STOP!! I've yet to even get to book 2 but I loved the first, now you're making me need to get back to yet another series I've left behind! lol

Finished and wow did this totally blow me away! It had an Infernal Devices feel so I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but Delilah Dawson is one seriously gifted storyteller. Insane world-building, characters created with so much ingenuity that you just get sucked in more with each page. I'm surprised by the mixed reviews, any steampunk fan will love this and I'm definitely getting to the next book before too long!

I was given 3 books of the series for review and I've been pushing them back farther and farther down the list as others came through! Finally decided to just grab it up, it's a fabulously well-written story. Her world is captivating and entirely unique, I'm loving it!

Ha, this happens to me sometimes too, I know there were great books read but without looking at the 'read' shelf it's hard to recall some of them! =)

I wrapped up an ARC of which didn't impress, and which had so-so reviews but was actually decent for an insta-mate storyline.

I decided to try on a whim because my co-blogger and another blogger I trust implicitly both raved about it, and I have to say it had me flipping pages like a crazy lady. The author is releasing each "session" separately, so you get bits of the story through 4 novellas. Interesting way of releasing it, but I'm definitely hooked for at least the second one next month!

Now on to which I like so far.

Oh, I really want to read WHite Hot Kiss!! Just got my copy in the mail over the weekend and I'm dying to get to it. Hope you like RCR, I still haven't read that series.
