Who's seen Vampire Academy? What did you think?

So still currently reading Fifty Shades Freed.

Twilight. Only because I hadn't read a non-textbook in years. I watched the movie, then had to read the rest of the series to find out what happened. Not only did this get me into paranormal and romance, it got me into books!!!!!!!!! Haven't stopped since (though I have slowed down a little bit).

Katya, if you had to pick one of these series for us to read as a group, would you recommend one? Obviously, it should be a vampire series :-)
Or if anyone else would recommend one of these series

Monere Children of the Moon by Sunny. So good!

I finally gave in and started the fifty shades of grey trilogy. I'm on book 3 now and can't finish!!! I haven't had this problem in forever. What did you all think of this book?

I agree Katya. I love to read, but I don't think I can do a challenge like that anymore. Too bad it wasn't around when my younger self had ..."What she said!!!

Hey Sylvie and Katya! Noticing some stuff is more active then others. Starting to move stuff around. I hope you don't mind!

I love fictfact as well! Wouldn't survive without it!!

Thanks Rene'!

:-D thanks Sylvie!!

Almost every book I read is part of a series. I prefer it that way. Unless I really like an author and they have stand-alone novels, then I'll read those.
Now though, I'm in the middle of 25 or so series and just waiting on the next book to come out. Most of the books Im reading are new books as they come out. It's seriously hard to keep up.
Can anyone relate?

Hi all! I've clearly already posted, but its been a while. :/ I feel like I needed to reintroduce myself. I'm KellBell...Im a workaholic with 2 kids, 2 dogs, a stay-at-home hubby and still a lover of vampire novels. In my extremely limited free time, I read. However, I was marking a book as read on goodreads and thought id see what you all were up to. You all are doing great!!!!!!! So happy to see this group going strong. I was reading some of the new stuff and it is awesome what you all have been up to.
I'm going to attempt to at least be around a little more because I seriously miss talking to fellow vampire lovers. No other reason but that - I miss you all. No promises but it's good to at least stalk around for a little while anyway.

I didn't get oct group read nominations or voting up in time. I can just add our second place winners from sept. what do you think? And I have another question. Since a lot of people read books by series, what do you think of doing 3 or 4 books, 2-3 of which are from the same series. I know that's how I prefer to read books.
Katya wrote: "I have a question....I noticed that one of the books of the month threads has no discussion in it at all and the other has three people saying either they haven't read it or that they intend to get..."Pretty normal. I just don't know how to get a real discussion going. Even when I'm reading the books...

I'm sorry I haven't responded to anyone on here or any messages. I'm not ignoring you, I promise, just busy is all.
You can remove me as moderator, if you like. I honestly don't think ..."We don't hate you! I have absolutely loved working with you and enjoyed all you've contributed to the group. I am going to remove you (don't hate me) but if ever you find the time to work with us again all you need to do is let me know and I will add you back on.
Oh and I've been enjoying reading your reviews! So keep it up!
