I've really enjoyed their discussions about the show and their interaction with cast and crew.

I just started seeing ads for Shadow and Bone on Netflix coming April 23https://twitter.com/netflix/status/13...
I haven't read the trilogy by Leigh Bardugo which starts with Shadow and Bone.
The tv show looks interesting. What do folks who've read the books think?

Jan wrote: "USD 13 can be considered expensive for an e-book in the US? Very interesting! What would an average e-book cost?"Looking at Kindle pricing, new genre fiction titles are typically $13 or $14. Prices often drop down to $10 after a few months, less if the book is reprinted as a mass market paperback. Of course, they can go on sale any time which is why so many of us watch the Kindle sale thread so closely. :-)
The Fold isn't a new book so the current price of $13 seems high. It was on sale for $2 last August.

Is this the first of the HBO MAX day and date releases following WW84?
Trike wrote: "Alex Ross painting Wolverine: https://youtu.be/HbN6XhZfQVA"When I read this, I saw "Bob Ross painting Wolverine"
Don't get me wrong, Alex Ross is a sensational artist, but I really wanted to see Bob Ross paint Wolverine. ;-)

I guess I need to read those someday."I signed up for the zoom session with Aaronovitch but didn't get home in time. I'm hoping it was taped. I've been reading the RoL comics as they come out and they are a lot of fun. Definitely worth reading when you find the time.

Ok. No one else has brought up the heffalump in the Mallory just blew through the difficult author names like they weren't there. What's up with that?

No secret page. The wiki web pages sometimes need a force reload to update properly.
My first 2021 read was Owl Be Home For Christmas by Diane Duane which tells the true story of Rocky, the owl rescued from the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/animal-n...
Ms. Duane wrote the novella shortly after Rocky was rescued and released it as an ebook after the bird's release. The story is written in her Young Wizards universe which I'm not familiar with, but I didn't need to know anything about that series to enjoy her clever and entertaining fantasy tale.
