40148 So glad you have joined us for another round at the Buffet. I especially like The Razor’s Edge, looking forward to your progress.

40148 Welcome back, nice choices so far. I am a big fan of The Razor’s Edge. Happy reading!
40148 Great choices, I have read several, but On the Beach and The Road are both excellent.
40148 Your challenge layout is great. Enjoy

Thanks Lynn, I have been neglecting my science fiction and non-fiction. I need to increase both of those genres. Science fiction was a square, but I squeezed two non-fictions into my challenge. Fingers crossed I’m ready for January 1.

40148 If I can read three more books in the next two weeks, I will complete two more challenges for a total of eight. My only hope is that two of the three are brain candy books that read a little quicker.

Shogun is one of those books I’ve been wanting to read for ever, and I do have it as a ‘maybe’ for 2023 :O)"

Thanks, Shogun has had nothing but praise from friends who have read it. I don’t know how long it will take to read, I intend to read others along the way, but I will crack the cover on Jan.1, fingers crossed.
40148 Kathleen wrote: "Delectable is right--I'm getting hungry just reading your challenge plans! Here's to a wonderful reading year, Bob."

Thanks, the chef is always happy to see diners enjoying themselves. My finial planning is getting tougher, finding the right book for the right spot is harder at the end.
40148 Kathleen wrote: "So true that resistance is futile, and I'm glad you gave in. Hoping especially that you go with The Winter of Our Discontent and So Big. Have fun!"

Kathleen, both have been screaming from my bookshelf pick me, pick me for years. This year knock on wood will be the year.
40148 Sara wrote: "Consider this a little exercise after all that food! Glad you are playing. I'm already looking forward to getting your views on some of your choices."

Sara, if the planning wasn’t so much fun, I think I would find a pleasant shade tree to sit and digest my large buffet meal. I too, am looking forward to several of your reviews. Take care and Merry Christmas!
40148 Matt wrote: "Nice list Bob. Good luck!"

Thanks Matt, God didn’t bless me with the ability to read fast, so I will take all the luck I can get.
