38356 I'm wondering what people think the Native American customs and traditions. I love how deeply they feel and believe. I loved how the story was centered in this world.

You're welcome... and yeah, right? Amazing.
38356 And don't read this until you've read the first several chapters of the book -

Author's Notes on Naked Edge
38356 Thought I'd share this -

Naked Edge Book Trailer
38356 I still don't have my copy. I loaned it to my daughter who loaned it to her friend who hasn't finished it yet. :(
38356 Thanks, Pamela! I asked about Smashwords because I think it makes it so readers in countries Amazon doesn't sell to can still get access to the book.

38356 I thought Kat was a great heroine. Good choice, Pamela, and for all the right reasons.
38356 Will it be on Smashwords?
38356 Thanks for the heads up, Pamela!

38356 Sarah from Defiant!! I adore her, her story...all that is her!
38356 I'm trying to get my copy from my daughter so I can actually re-read it! Even if I can't, I'll be sharing in the discussion.

Haha! Can't get here soon enough!
38356 We're looking at September 30th, and only .99! I reviewed it, if anyone is interested in reading about how this novella came to be.

ETA I guess a link would be helpful.

Totally!!!!!!! Sometimes scenes feel as though the author has to meet a requisite orgasm number and who cares when, where or how that happens! LOL!

Now, don't get me wrong... in erotic reads that's expected and even appreciated (sometimes) but I love how Pamela makes it about connecting (not just tab B into slot A)on a deeper level.
38356 Back to the story - what do you ladies think of the sex scenes?

I love the passion, both physical and emotional. It's such a HUGE turn-on when the hero is so totally into and lost in the heroine. For me, it deepens the romance and makes it more real.

I really do appreciate your sentiment. I've recently been contacted by authors looking for reviews, who seem to have the impression that readers are nothing without their books. It doesn't go over well with me.

Having beta read a couple of your books, I know how much of your heart and soul go into your stories. How many times chapters or even just sentences are written and re-written until it's exactly what you want. All that heart and soul and attention to detail shows, Pamela. It truly does.
38356 Yep! I love the way they came together again. The story makes it much more than just a romance novel, but Sophie and Marc make it a real love story.
38356 I remember at first thinking it was odd that she didn't immediately recognize him, but teenagers change so much when they become adults, especially men as their features become more defined, and they become more men than boys.

But that aside, it was twelve years, Marc had been in Afghanistan...buffed up. When we first "meet" him in prison he's working out... His third set of push-ups...137, 138, 139.... If hard military life doesn't change a boys features, prison sure would.

And it says his dark hair was shoulder length, dark beard covered the lower part of hisface, concealing his features.... All that and I can understand why she didn't recognize him.
38356 The prologue is one o my favorite scenes, and favorite prologues ever.
