It was easy to have her family around anytime of year, but Lacy really looked forward to Christmas. The only exception to that was her toad of a cousin, Junie, who just had to be center of attention at any function she attended. I think because it was lust at first sight, lots of sex, then a love connection, it seemed more plausible to me.
