38356 I love the Über alpha heroes who know that women need to be allowed to be themselves.

My husband and I had this conversation awhile back, and we were talking about "macho" men. In my mind, a "macho" man is the guy who sits around in his wifebeater drinking beer, watching the game, and telling his wife what to do. An alpha male is the one who sits around watching the game, drinking a beer, shootin' the poop with his friends, while taking care to make sure his woman is have a good time, too.

I don't know if I'm making sense, but I love these alpha males.
38356 I'm finished. My first impression of Reece was typical politician because I don't trust them. It took me a long while to accept that he was a good guy.
38356 And it's soooooo good! Cute, funny, sexy.

38356 Oh, girlie! I LOVED The Bride (Lairds' Fiancées, #1) by Julie Garwood . So freakin' good! That was my first Garwood read and I then bought and read every single historical romance she wrote, back to back.

Another all time favorite is Lisa Kleypas's, Again the Magic (Wallflowers, #0.5) by Lisa Kleypas

And Pamela Clare's Ride the Fire (Blakewell/Kenleigh Family Trilogy, #3) by Pamela Clare

And The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie (Highland Pleasures, #1) by Jennifer Ashley

And Laura Kinsale's Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale

But my true, ALL TIME FAVORITE is, drum roll please - The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2) by J.R.R. Tolkien The Return of the King (The Lord of the Rings, #3) by J.R.R. Tolkien

And yes, I know, that's three. But it's one story so epic it couldn't be contained in a single volume.

38356 Yes, you definitely want to read this one in order, though, in my opinion, the last one is the best!

I know, right???? It's such a great story!
38356 I just adore this story. That Pamela can take a politician and make him hot is amazing! In fact, I created a shelf called politicians I'd do, just for Reece!

38356 My favorite heroine is earthy and nurturing.

My favorite hero is worldly, alpha, obnoxious, but devoted, faithful and nurturing.
38356 Glad you found it, Jane!
38356 Lol! I'm right behind you!
38356 Tomorrow! Woot!!

I'd go 3 weeks, I think.
