I read The Goldfinch this season (it's my bookclub's pick for May). I enjoyed it, but didn't find it fabulous, and find it sort of surprising as a Pulitzer pick. If you can tolerate long books (that should be shorter), it's a good read.

It's March 11 and I haven't managed to finish a single book yet. Eegads! I'm partway through several, but I've been having trouble completing anything. I hope I get less scattered soon. Also for the first time in quite some time, I haven't found a book for one of the tasks (20.9). Since I won't get to all the tasks anyway, I'm trying not to worry about it, but the gap in my spreadsheet makes me sad.
