Hi Patti! I hope the weekend was good crazy and the rest of the week was ok.

Tuesday and Thursdays are my work days so I'm about a bit less. Tomorrow I plan to give a bit of an update now we are up and running about the mini and where to put things. If you have other questions now is a very good time to put them in the thread.

I've tried to get a list of all the pets people said they had and am now relying on Google to help me find pictures!

If you mention your favourite animal, it might just pop up in the days to come.

Our first book of the challenge is complete which was a lovely surprise this morning.

Oh that sounds almost worse than working in a bookshop. I'd want to spend the day making a fuss of them and not actually working.

So some teams have daily inspiration pictures. While I don't want to steal their (God of) thunder, I thought that some animal pictures might tempt us all to the thread regularly.



Starting with the breed my family have owned and I just want to cuddle.

Wow 5 hours is a long flight just to start off a journey! Not traveling abroad makes a lot of sense when that is what you start with.

Less than 12 hours to go!

Time to finish off the books that are in progress (which for some of us are wanted by our Uno teams) ready to start something new in the morning!

I'm very happy with that as enough of a link. Think some of them may end up being more tenuous.

I thought I'd got at least one of the May BOM lined up on my shelves, but I can't find it now so might have to go searching again and decide if they are worth buying.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Will have to go through and see what I can get my hands on.

Currently trying not to buy too many books so my first port of call is my local library (variable selection but generally not too bad and get most things as ebooks) or kindle unlimited (recommendations largely broken by me reading things for challenge prompts without caring about quality).

Definite urban fantasy/fantasy vibe to this list!

Can you all recommend your favourite easy reads? I want a list of stuff for those days where I'm struggling to read.
