35559 Amell with the salmon ladder. Shame the show got too ridiculous to carry on watching.

35559 We'll all get there! Any of us who are healthy have a backup plan of going on a steam train and to do circus skills with my sister and her 2 children tomorrow so it's not all bad.

35559 Not a silly question at all! All you need to worry about is the tracking sheet. Stephanie, Teddie and I will sort the official sheet every so often.

35559 She's 6 months pregnant so probably wasn't the best idea to take my bug up to see them anyway. Think now it'll be going up to meet the new addition in the autumn instead.

35559 Sorry I wasn't meaning to be picky, I was trying to give ideas on how to think about the protest to see if it would fit the various categories.

My plans for the weekend have fallen through. Rather than going to Manchester to stay with my best friend who I haven't seen for 2 years, I'm staying home to look after my husband and kids who have picked up the temperature that I had earlier in the week.

35559 Stephanie wrote: "Just wondering what the team thinks. Would a protest be counted as a siege or just a battle?"

What are they protesting? Are they defending a right or a location by the protest? Do they have any weapons (even one of amazing rhetoric)? Do they build any barricades or defenses against the police?

Just the fact it is a protest doesn't give us enough to go on to help.

How was Starling House? Currently undecided about them both.

No more wringing for you please from now on! Fingers crossed recovering with your books makes everything feel a bit better.

35559 Yeah same here. That came back to bite me a bit but I managed to get them all reviewed eventually (if a bit late).

Much more sensible! I did the standard thing of getting overexcited when I first signed up.

Yeah this is going to get into my brain for a bit. I hear from people who have played in rounds of my restaurant rocks that noticing food items becomes an ingrained habit.

I got the first as an ARC many years ago (while I still managed to read them in a reasonable timeframe!) otherwise I'm not sure I'd ever have picked them up.

Your new ARC sounds like it should be awesome and love that it's a Hungarian author.

What I write down (when I get round to it), wouldn't read at all the same as a memoir that I was writing to get across my thoughts and personal growth. Sometimes the personal insights from that type of writing can be great when published, but it is unpolished and separate to an autobiography/memoir in my mind.

Tofino is properly isolated looking at a map - I spent some time in Campbell River (other side of Vancouver Island from Tofino at roughly the same latitude) and you didn't have to go far out of town to be in the woods. We had deer that would come and graze on the lawn.
