Finally not feverish so managed to get some reading done.
The Golden Enclaves was a good ending to the series and showed more foresight into how the whole series had hung together than I've seen from some similar YA series.

I haven't read any le carre for about 20 years. Teenage me wasn't a fan.
Fingers crossed this isn't too traumatic in getting to the happy ending Sonia.

Still got a temperature, boo. Little Miss has gone into nursery for an extra day today so I could rest and my voice is sufficiently rubbish that I've told work I'm not going in tomorrow. Have been mainly watching TV today as it requires less brain power, but I'm hoping to read more tomorrow.

Sounds like you and Maritza are opposite in when your reading is happening this week.

Urban for me

The 15 mins sleep timer is often my friend because at least I don't have to go back too far!

Thanks Mel! Just trying to get caught up with all my challenges and glad you're keeping me on track here!

In less great news, I'm feverish today and my brain is struggling with the concept of reading so not getting v far with stuff for the challenge.

I have just moved a lot of the read books on to the official spreadsheet so if you want to look at them, you can find them there.
There are also filters on all of the columns (the triangle bits in the header row). I have filtered out everything that has been transferred, but you can see it all again by pressing on the triangle/funnel in b6.
When you are using the sheet, you can use the other filters to just see your books, but please turn it back to everyone's afterwards to avoid confusion.

Nope marshmallows were responsibly cooked with my children this afternoon before being squashed in chocolate digestive biscuits. No burning of either marshmallow or children in sight.

I'm going Sam on this one. It's a tough choice though.

There's a plus button at the top of the SS. We've hidden the rows so that noone has to scroll too far down to find the currently reading and planned books. Or to add new ones.
This will be done periodically as things are added to the official sheet.

Comfort read is a good place to head. How was the SJM?
Focus? But there's something else just over there that looks more entertaining.

Glad you're having an incredible time Suzanne! Looking forward to hearing your highlights.
Welcome home Cecily!
Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend.

Yeah there's a reason I haven't voted over there yet! Unlikely pretty much everyone else I don't have a strong preference either way which makes being the deciding vote for team not hot prof v difficult.
