Would Rachel's Cold Eternity technically have a door covering this "bed"?

Agreed, I think that’s pushing it a bit.

35559 @Priya - are you still planning on reading Major Pettigrew's Last Stand? If not, I just finished a book that can fit the task.

Okay perfect, in which case, no shuffling is needed :)

@Jackie - I used your book for statue on cover.

@Priya - we can find another task for it, if you'd like to use it. Like I said, no pressure to read long books. You could also leave it on your TT shelf for now, and add it to the SS towards the end of month 2 if you haven't hit your cap.

Thank you!

@Tricia - how are you doing with Things We Never Got Over

@Laura - are you going to read the Zapata book soo-ish? Or should we move Silje's Zodiac book to Z and quickly read something for Cristo? I know you have several books on your plate, so just wanted to check.

Yeah, I think I’m going to space them out too. I can imagine it getting monotonous after a point.

35559 I would also love to discuss our highlights from month 1. Any books you particularly enjoyed, and would want to recommend to the rest of the team? Any new to you authors? An underrated book? Overrated book? Feel free to talk about anything!

My favorite read was the Mrs Pollifox series. The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax. I love the humor, and wide array of supporting characters!

I also quite enjoyed LOTR Book 1. I’ve watched the movies several times, but never got around to reading the books. Now I know I’ll never watch the movies again lol!

And Archangel's Ascension sighhhh I don’t want this series to end 😢

Lowlight was Temple. I read this book a decade or so ago, and loved it. Buttttt this time around, I forced myself to finish it for the points! Too much action and no movement in the plot. It felt like watching mission impossible on paper 🤦‍♀️

35559 Tricia wrote: "I'm curious if we were able to use any of our reserve books?"

We didn’t! We managed to read over 200 books, which put us higher than several other teams. There was no reason to dip into our reserves 😊

If possible, we should aim for longer books this month. Nothing insane, but it’d be great to stay away from the <300 page books. No pressure though! Don’t read a book you hate!

Fixed :) You had the wrong mini ref populated. It's the letter I and 40. The font sucks, so I can understand the confusion.

We can use this for set on the African continent. And Battle of Lab for U (whenever you finish it!)

We get the same points for both tasks, so we'll just leave it in the itinerary task :) Thanks, Priya!
