I’m on my phone but I can have a look when at a computer in an hour or so

35559 I’ve now started Every Last Suspect by Nicola Moriarty for my RL bookclub. This is Liane’s sister, she lives locally and is also the friend of one of my book club members. I’ve really enjoyed her other books (all the moriarty sisters can write!) so looking forward to it

thanks for the recommendation, I have had The Girl Of The LimberLost: Annotated on my TBR for a while and you gave me a little push to get to it sooner rather than later. :)"

Great!
Someone recommended it to me last year otherwise I would never have known of it. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected

35559 Finished my two books
Hard Eight (Stephanie Plum, #8) by Janet Evanovich - another silly and fun addition to the series. Pure bubblegum
A Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton-Porter - the most enjoyable 'classic' that I'd never heard of. Unfortunately very dense text so the page count was much lower than I would have liked for the reading time involved 😂

Thanks all good so far.

And yes, so true!

35559 Finished
Lion in the Valley (Amelia Peabody, #4) by Elizabeth Peters
which has been on my tbr since 2017. It was good fun, and a little slapstick at times

35559 Sounds like a great break coming up, Mel!

35559 I'm almost done with my 2 books I have on at the moment. I'll finish before the round ends.

It has been another crazy week in my household (this wheel theme is so apt for me! haha) with kids at camp and my mum in hospital (planned surgery, but there for 8 days) so I'm just running around while also trying to keep a business running 😐
I fly to brisbane tomorrow for a couple of days and although it is business related it will be a bit of a break lol

Let's just say that there's a reason the word 'sadism' was named after the author. You have been warned. 🙀"

Yes it was. I was reading it, and then switching to audio at times. Which was fine except when in the car with my kids and they heard a few f-bombs. Oops. But they did find it very funny
