Chapter 1 - Santhid

Interesting name for the chapter. I wonder how this creature may become more relevant?

It was good to see Shallan and Jasnah getting along even though it has only been 4 days since the events of the first book.
(view spoiler)[ I did not see the arranged marriage coming! Won't that be interesting and I wonder what that means for Adolin. Although Jasnah says Shallan is valuable due to her 'gifts', ... will she be honest with Adolin and Dalinar about them? It seems strange they would agree to this. Perhaps it is true that he has offended everyone else who is eligible?!! (hide spoiler)]

Prologue
I was not expecting to go back to that party and I'd actually forgotten that Jasnah would have been there! This was so cool to see what happened from a different point of view.
(view spoiler)[ I also wonder about the shadows and Shadesmar. This seems to be her first encounter so is there a link between Szeth taking the stormlight and her 'power'?

Liss' Shin servant - would that have been Szeth?

It also has a thousand food items, and I suspect we may even be able to get to white collar crime, but I'm only in chapter 3 so I could be wrong...!

Beautiful book which I got for free from Prime reading - I recommend it for anyone that enjoys character driven novels!

With 2 days and 11 hours to go we have read 74 of our 85 expected books.
So, if possible, please add any books you are planning to that 6th spell it out rather than starting a 7th (in case we don't get there!). We have 2x O and 1 X U needed for #6 also
