I love this series, but this wasn’t a great addition. I struggled to get through it and looking at the reviews it seems I wasn’t the only one.

I’m flying to Melbourne today with my tome and will also look for a quickie that has an I 😊

I wish I had more time just to sit down and read this. I am so invested in the story! Unfortunately I have struggled with the audio so I keep taking the massive paperback around with me 🤣

I have finished my Hawaii book. It was not that interesting, but worked for the mini and contained lobster ;)

Now onto what I expect to much more fun - for book 5 and an I :)

I'm getting through Hawaii as a priority, so we can try and get a second set of feeding open. Should be done over the next day

Then I'll move to the book 5 in the second set of gardening tasks

Part 3, End of chapter 51

So this is where the paperback book 1 ends. Why do they do that rather than at the actual end of part 3 (which according to the audio is still several chapters away!)

Loving Shallan. She has really matured and her wit is hilarious. Speaking of Wit, (Hoid) he keeps popping up I believe. (view spoiler)[ surely he was who Shallan met a few years ago.!
I'm still so curious as to how her father died. And also her brother that left and was exiled from the family. Where is he now?

Adolin and Shallan's dinner where she asked him about going to the toilet on the Plains was gold. Love where their relationship is going, although I did wonder at first if we may have something with her and Kalladin instead.

The whole thing with Eshonai is creepy. How she changed forms and is now completely set on destruction and pushing down her 'old' self that wanted peace.

So much more I'm sure I have already forgotten as I just get so enthralled with reading! Picking up part 2 of the paperback from the library today. I still prefer it to the audio. (hide spoiler)]

On the plus side the book I got for Hawaii has lobster which made me very happy 🤣

Based on our books read for round 2, we will need 5 more X books for this round than what we currently have claimed on the tracking spreadsheet. So please check your books and claim one (or two) if you can :)
