Is Annie-Marie still in the challenge? I haven't seen her post in a while and have noticed she's been at 4 of 70 for ages now.

This is a long shot but would
work for Magenta mix up?

Thanks. I'll get the second one from the library then. :)

Are either of these covers similar enough to Cadet Blue (
http://www.goodreads.com/challenges/1...) in your opinion?
If not I'll find an edition of the book that fits Magenta Mix-Up's colours.

Cadet blue is behind us at the moment.

Yep, I was quietly reading the conversations here and couldn't resist joining something so fun. I really do need to stop joining challenges though. :)

I haven't been around because I've been kind of busy with school at the moment. I hope that everyone else hasn't been around because they're reading?
About this June and July challenge, the timing is really annoying for me, as it's over my last 7 weeks of school this year. It actually finished on my last day of school! So I might not be able to help much towards it but I'll try my best. I'm sure I can get at least half of the books I'll read to fit in categories somehow or another.

Yeah, it sort of is good Delirium won't be a TV show. It wouldn't have enough action to make it interesting as most of the book is Lena's thoughts and stuff.

Thanks :)

I've only planned a bronze cover book,
. Anything else I'll just read what I feel like.
By the way, which bestseller list should we use?

There's also May the 4th be with you, so we could read science fiction (or fantasy) books.
Dawn, I like the Cinco De Mayo idea.

Whichever theme we pick should be a fairly easy one so we've all got more chance of finding books that fit the theme.

I've gone and created a list for books with bronze covers (I know, I know) so please add books to it and vote for more so we can all try to find books with bronze cover that interest us (both for this read-a-thon and any more to come in the future).
http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/36...

So the only unread book I own that has a cover that is even remotely similar to bronze is
. It's not quite bronze but would you say it counts?
If not I'll have to go searching my library catalogue for books I'm interested in that have bronze covers, and that might some time.
Do we have a theme yet?

In which case I guess I'll change my goal to 600 pages.

I forgot about the change in clocks.
No, you'll start at 4PM, like me - I live in L..."Okay, thanks :)

I live in the UK so do I start at 5pm? Seeing as the clocks have changed and it's now BST here?

I will join in the read-a-thon, but I probably won't read much more than usual... I have my first real exam that week. Eek!
So my page goal will be just 500 pages. :)
I will try to make sure those pages are read from a book/books that have bronze covers and fit into whatever theme we choose.

You're right, but if you sprint at the start of a marathon you'll be exhausted by the end. If we keep a steady pace the whole time we could just win this when the others teams get tired of non-stop reading. :)
...Or so I hope

Yay! Got my first one finished!
Is anyone going to be participating in
Dewey's 24 hour read-a-thon the weekend after next? I'll be reading for as much of the 24 hours as possible so will probably get a few books finished. If anyone else from the team joined in it would have us off to a great start. :)
