Thanks for your input Alysa. (:
We're doing well with the tasks. Maybe we are getting stuck on some Bingo tasks? Not having read a Discworld book yet, I'm thinking of ways to match books to some Bingo tasks. But they are filling up more in June than July.
Is this something anyone would like us to brainstorm for? Some Bingo tasks that aren't so straightforward? Or are we okay
to wing it?

I think we'll be okay writing up the Jackonaries. Worst case scenario, I can write up a Jackonary and everyone can have input before we finish the challenge. I've added a few books there so far that Jessi and I haven't been able to fit anywhere else.
If you want to add your books somewhere else Alysa, that would be okay. The easier tasks tend to get filled quicker. We will work with whatever information you provide us with

All done Kimber. Would it fit in any tasks or are you happy for me to put it wherever?

35559 In regards to tasks, Bingo and jackonary, I dedicate my weekend to updating them all. Tasks and Bingo are still a priority at the moment to complete as much as possible. We can start working on Jackonary tasks if that's something the group wants?

Let me know if you have any other feedback on completing any of the tasks! :)

Pop it in as a option and if Christina doesn't let us know, we can use it if no one else's book fits

35559 Ooh thanks or the reminber Stacey! Backroom BOM is starting on the 9th.
Is there anyone interested in reading for it who isn't a member of the backroom? We can get you set up there if needed.

Mean Girl Murder (Merry Wrath Mysteries, #8) by Leslie Langtry"

Uhhh... That's an odd one.

More a bird I think? But I don't see any wings. If it's a rodent, wouldn't the legs be more forward and not have a beak like nose? Maybe there will be a clue in the book somewhere. An animal that had been taxidermied?
35559 DQs Day 5 - The Game - end

21. Even though Nora loved her life with Ash and Molly she still returned to the library. Were you surprised that she didn’t stay? Did you want her to stay in that life?
- I was surprised she didn't stay. I was also surprised that she didn't want to leave her daughter. I was under the impressions she wasn't desperate for children. I did want her to stay in that life but I also thought that she would want to continue her own life.

22. When Nora reconnects with her brother Joe she finds out that the reason he had been avoiding her was nothing to do with her decision not to continue with the band. I think that Nora’s experiences in her other lives helped her to accept that this was the truth. Her old self was so wrapped up in thoughts that she was responsible for other people’s happiness I feel she may have thought he was just trying to be kind due to her suicide attempt. What are your thoughts?
- I agree with you. She was struggling a lot with all that baggage and trauma. Her other lives definitely showed her that she won't be happy if she chooses paths that make others happy.

23. Were you happy with the ending? Where would you like Nora’s story to go next?
- I kinda still want her to be with Ash but I know she won't have the life she did before. I don't think she'll start anything with him as she's experienced it. I think she'll keep doing what she's doing as it's not what she wants to do. Go Nora!

24. Nora got to experience so many lives and possibilities - different careers, different relationships and the chance to live in places all over the world. If you were able to experience another life what would you want to experience?
- There would be. What if I stuck with gymnastics, chose a different career path, traveled, worked harder when I was younger... etc

25. Did you enjoy the book? Was there anything in the story that resonated with your own life? Is there a message you will take away with you?
- I did enjoy the book. The whole concept is something I've wanted to do for years and have always thought about. The message to take away would be to find peace with what you have done previously and where you're at now and to live in the moment and do what makes you happy. I think it's something I forget a lot.

Bonus: While reading the story certain parts reminded me of films and TV shows I’ve enjoyed. Films like ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ and ‘Sliding Doors’ or tv shows like ‘Sliders’ and ‘Quantum Leap’. Are there any films, shows or books that you were reminded of?
I haven't seen any of them or heard of any except 'It's a Wonderful Life'. It didn't remind me of anything when reading it. But, maybe 'The Butterfly Effect'?
